Service is slow and that's because they are understaffed. They should hire more people. Then you can't rely too much on their online banking because it's always down. I will probably just close my account here. :(

Unbelievable! It takes FOREVER to get waited on in the drive thru. Pushing the call button doesn't help either. Super slow. Even when the lobby appears empty, the tellers seem to hide from the drive thru. If this wasn't a company business account, I'd change Banks in a heartbeat!

Okay I'm fine walking through a metal detector, I'm mean really it IS a bank. So I go to cash a check from a business account. They ask for ID. That's fine too. Then she steps away to verify check. All good! Then she goes and is speaking to ?? Comes back and needs more ID. I give her a credit card. Not feeling good about then having my card I requested it back to provide a different state issued form of ID. She comes back after a few more minutes. Says she will cash it. Starts putting out $20's I requested $100's. Another woman comes to the window telling me that THE BANK has NO larger bills and that I could go to a different back if I choose. I said no to that; and am still surprised that a BANK doesn't have $50s or $100's!! To be CLEAR, the check I cashed was NOT must!! A BANK shoild have money, and different denominations of said money!! I walk out with a Thick stack that made me very uncomfortable in the area besides the bulk. Protect your back and put a target on the customer? Smh That Heaven for LANDMARK!!

Slow service. We waited 1/2 hour to add my brother to my safe deposit box and then they told us that it would take another 1/2 hour before anyone could help us. There was only one other customer in the bank. It looked like the banker was multi- tasking at our expense. Slow, indifferent service. One star.

I'm new to Associated & yesterday I went to their drive through. After waiting about 5 minutes, and not seeing anyone, I knocked on the window - no response. After a few more minutes I honked my horn - still nothing. After about 10 minutes the teller finally came to the window - and then she asked me how I was doing... really, I just waited 10 minutes for you to come to the window - perhaps an apology would have been more fitting than "how are you today."

I have had Associated for nearly 10 years now, and the last month of my banking life has been nothing short of TERRIBLE. First, one of my paychecks bounced, not the bank's fault obviously, but what is is that this didn't process in my account until 6 days after I had made the deposit. Normally, that's not THAT big of a deal, except for the fact that my boss and I have the same bank so they didn't even have to go somewhere else to see if my boss had sufficient funds in his account. Second, I deposited my next paycheck on Friday afternoon... Today is Monday afternoon and my account still does not have that money in it. Oh, and sometime within the last two years, they changed the minimum required balance in the savings account I had without notifying me, and had been charging me $5/month for 10 months. Fourth, over the weekend they had someone call me to verify a charge, and when I said that I didn't feel comfortable giving my information to someone who called me rather than vice versa, the guy asked me why I was wasting his time! I politely told him that I would call my bank to handle whatever the issue was. The only good thing about Associated bank is the customer service. They are always available, and they do monitor your account and freeze your card if something a little shady comes up. But their procedures for handling your money are AWFUL.
