Great customer service experience! I ordered a part for my bike not knowing if it was going to be compatible, because I’m new to this stuff. Exceptional bike shop! I'm doing a tear down and rebuild for my first time as a quarantine project, and they have been friendly, informative, and have everything I need. I originally came in here to get a little bit of work done on a bike after having a bad experience with Wheel & Sprocket. They're half the price with twice the customer service. I just moved to MKE last year-it's a nice weight off my shoulders to know I don't have to look any further for any of my cycling needs.

What a great place, it is bit of a drive (40 minutes) from me but I will be using them as my regular bike shop. My wife was looking for a new bike and with the stock they carry they were able to get her set up right away. Test rides are awesome with the park right there. And they knocked it out of the park with the pricing and setting up the bike proper.Made me miss living in Milwaukee.

Honestly one of the best, fastest, and most helpful customer service experiences I've had in ages. Fantastic selection with great prices and quick responses to questions and issues. I live in California so have only used their online store, but even so, with all the great email and phone chats to help me make sure I'm getting the right components for my needs, it feels like a an LBS. All the thumbs up.

The staff here is great or at least the one my friends and I spoke to. He knew right away we were out of our price range with the inventory they had left but he continued to describe any and everything we needed to know about getting into biking. He became very comfortable very quickly with us and decided to take us on a tour of their entire store because... why not. Awesome environment with a wide selection of new bikes from the most basic one speeds to a bike he said claimed victory in one of the worlds more prestigious bike races. Would recommend going here if you are in the area.

Ben's is the best shop I've been to In SE Wisconsin. I browsed around to several shops looking to get into biking and most other shops are out of stock, and the staff were more salesman then bike enthusiasts. Alex let me try as many bikes as I wanted, was VERY informative, and didn't force me to buy any one specific brand/bike. This will be where I go for any future service and purchases.

This place is AMAZING! I've been there twice recently. The first gentlemam with the red hair (his girlfriends a nurse, so she's cool too) was so nice and fixed my flat tire so I was able to get back on the road the same day. The second time, I came in cause my gears were grinding (maybe cause I was messing with things I shouldn't have). The dude with the beard didn't judge me for this and went above the line of duty and walked me through what to do and not do at home. This was super nice as I just started cycling and know nothing about this stuff. You both ROCK!

After being told by various shops around Milwaukee that it would be 4-8 weeks before anyone could service me bike, I came across Ben’s. I called them and explained my problem with my derailleur alignment and asked how many weeks out they were. To my surprise I was told if it’s just adjustment, about two hours and if more is needed about 9 days. Awesome news to hear alone.I threw my Colnago in my car and drove it to there shop less than an hour before closing, expecting to leave it there. I was greeted at the door and explained my issues. A gentlemen took it back to their service area and 5 min later came back and asked I take it around the block.Instantly it rode like new again, and when I asked was there anything else I should schedule service wise, I was told that the bike is in real good shop overall. Just to wipe it down. Honest answer which was much appreciated. I went from waiting a couple months to having my bike fixed in 5 minutes. No charge on this quick adjustment, but I will definitely be coming back for any service or cycle needs!!Thank you!

ABSOLUTELY ? I dropped in for a tune up,young mechanic told me I didn't need one... told me what to do to keep my bike in shape, pumped up the tires... respectful, helpful,kind and courteous... I am an occasional biker and NEVER feel like I don't belong at Ben's! The BEST!

Fantastic customer experience buying from their Ebay online store! Not only was it a great deal and shipped quickly, but Dan spent quite a lot of time yesterday answering all my questions via follow up e-mails and phone calls, including talking to the manufacturer's sales rep and getting back to me. I purchased a 26” mountain bike on Amazon for my son. Had to assemble it myself and ended up not happy at all with how the brakes were NOT working properly. After an on line search for bike shops I chose Ben’s Cycle. Most shops I talked to were charging $65-$85 for a “ Tune up” Bens offers Ala Carte pricing on just about everything they service. Walked the bike in, was greeted and helped almost immediately. Alex was the gentleman who helped me. I explained what the issue was and he said “ give me a few minutes “ and rolled the bike to the service area in back. My son and I browsed the shop and saw some the coolest bikes we’ve ever seen. About ten minutes later, Alex wheels the bike out and explained what he fixed. Brakes worked perfectly. He also adjusted the gears . He then thanked us for coming in and told us “no charge”. It caught me off guard. Thanks so much for the kind Gesture, and even more for the EXCELLENT Customer Service!!! I was able to show my teenage son how amazing people can be to one another. Great Job Alex!!!!

Drew went out of his way to help me through several larger orders of parts for a couple builds I was doing. Ben's/Drew were phenomenal handling two separate issues that arose, even though one was strictly UPS's problem. On my first order, UPS temporarily lost the order. Before UPS had even confirmed if it was lost or just delayed, Ben's expedited a replacement and took care of the other issue 100% on their end. On a subsequent custom order, we had a long email thread choosing options, and in the end there was a small ordering mistake made. Ben's expedited the correct parts right away, without me having to push at all.

Not only do they have the best price for labor around the Milwaukee area but their customer service is A1. This is my go to place for all thing bike related.

I was trying to track down an obscure SRAM part when I came across the listing for what I thought I needed on the BC website. The (internet) sales guy was nice enough to order the part and call me back the next day informing me it was in fact not what I needed. Great customer service, I will not hesitate to shop online Ben's in the future.

Wow. I had a super complicated bike project and I planned on sourcing parts all over the internet. I was going to get handlebars and a couple other things from Ben's Cycles, but ended up ordering an entire bike's worth because they were so friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They make me wait every time I go there. Yesterday I waited over 20 minutes and the owner IGNORED me. He struck up a conversation with my husband (I'm standing there holding the bike I bought in his shop but he ignores me). My husband even said "hey we just want to check in my wife's bike to get repaired." Instead he looks at the person coming in the door - waits on her and then proceeds to wait on the next 4 people - all while ignoring me. When I started to complain he just made excuses. If it only happened it once it would be one thing, but this happens every time I go there. Don't go there unless you like standing around (oh and by the way I've bought multiple bikes there - makes no difference they'll still make you stand there.

Bought a specialized Vita Elite July 2016. Soon after purchased an air pump following year new brake pads installed. Paid on credit card. Went in this April for tune up. Had a gift card to use and was told there was no money on it. Paid with credit card buy know I never used the card there was $100 on it. Called Vince to check it out in their system and he told me after several calls bank could not help him. He could tell in his system when a friend bought a bike from 10 years ago but couldn't tell me what I purchased the last couple years. Never got an itemized list of what was done to my bike and later had to ask for a receipt. Bike rack was stuck on my vehicle so I got it off and was told to bring it in. Brought it in and had pic from Saris as to what to order. They said they'd order and have it later that day. Was going out of town and had a friend pick it up. Only cost $11.61 but when I looked at it they had put the old one back in. Wondering what they even fixed. Called and asked where were the new parts. They mailed the unopened package and was told must have been a misunderstanding and you can't please everyone!!!!!!! REALLY!!!!!!! How do you fix something after ordering new parts and not use them? Thought this was an awesome place but won't ever go back and won't recommend to anyone
