Noteworthy details: The check-in person and the manager worked together to solve a small check-in glitch. If I could give them a rate of 10, I would. They were informed, gracious, and served us with sincerity and a great sense of humor. I could not be more pleased with our stay. Our room was clean and I loved that they have a water bottle filling station, so I didn't have to purchase plastic bottles. The restaurant in the basement was handy and tasty.

We have only been to Milwaukee once for a college tour. We was planning a trip back 1.5yrs later and was looking for a good hotel moving our son into his college dorm. We picked this hotel bc of the amenities and the how close it was to the college. This hotel has exceptional customer service and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with our stay. Anytime they saw us we were greeted and asked if there is anything they can do for us. The hotel was also very clean. The breakfast had a wide variety of hot breakfast items that you don’t see at other hotels like chorizos and corn beef hash. The workout room had top of the line equipment. Didn’t get to use the pool this time but planning on using it the next time we are there. Will definitely stay here again.

I have never had a worse encounter with a front staff member in my entire life. My husband, myself, and my three-year-old daughter decided to book a last-minute staycation at a hotel with a pool. Being who I am, I researched different hotels in the Milwaukee area for well over and hour and decided this hotel looked perfect. I booked through my credit card company since we had travel credits I wanted to use up. No issues at all. We drove 40 minutes to this hotel a couple days later to be greeted by the front desk member who clearly was annoyed that we were there to check in. After barely talking to us and checking us in she states- You can't stay here, you live within a 30-mile radius. Ummm what? I asked her. You live within 30 miles you can't stay here. Why? All she would tell us is because it's the rule. No explanation. Continuing to be extremely rude as my toddler was crying because she couldn't swim and just spent 40 mins in a car. When I looked up how far away we lived it was 28 miles. She literally had no conscious or good bone in her body to help us try to figure out a solution. She made us drive 40 minutes back home breaking our toddler's heart because of a stupid (from what I understand, racist) rule. My understanding is they don't want any ‘locals’ staying at this hotel (hello Milwaukee segregation!) what a horrible person and company.I have been asked by hotels in the Milwaukee area to stay with them and make posts for their social media. I will do my best to spread the word on how awful this hotel is and hope this front desk member on 12/28 at 4:30 pm gets reprimanded for her horrible customer service. Oh, and all of this is nonrefundable where never once was it mentioned that you can't live within 30 miles nor did they give me the decency and call me ahead of time to let me know.

Rooms: Nice but I was overcharged online for room cancellation within 24 hoursFood & drinks: Bartender and front desk was so nice she try anything to get the charge off but the manager didn't care showed no interested call customer service they said I wasn't going to be charge but got charge anyways Best Western didnt care we was there for a funeral Thanks Holly You Try Still Disappointed ? will never book with you again not online

Rooms: Had a kitchenette in my room...got moved to different floors and not all rooms are the same size or have as great of a latout.Safety: I did pick this for safety and felt comfortable there for the 6 days I was stuck there for work over the holiday.Food & drinks: Good food and service in the restaurant thats located in the basement.

There were quite a few pro's about this hotel:1. Location right by the airport on a main road.2. The housekeeping is awesome. They are always cleaning something and just seem to be very hardworking.3. The indoor pool is really big. It's a long pool that goes to 8 ft depth. It has windows for the ceiling so the sun is shining in. There's fake tree's everywhere. It looks like you're outside.CON: THE BREAKFAST!!!!! We were there during a conference and there was barely any food. Nobody was in there keeping up with things. When I went in there were no forks left, no clean tables, no juice left, no milk left, the entire mini refrigerator with yogurts was cleared out...no eggs, no bacon. It was BAD. We had waffles and that was it. I couldn't believe it. We are a family of 4 so having the included breakfast is a big deal because otherwise we are having to go out to breakfast and spend $50-60 after tip! When booking, make sure there isn't a large conference happening during your stay.

If I could give this place more then 5 stars I would give them 10! What a great place to stay, and we've stayed at alot of hotels and Inns! There was a bit of an issue with our room but the girl at the front desk gave us another room right away with some complimentary snacks. The sports bar and grill in the hotel is awesome! The food is phenomenal and the service is too! We were delighted to find out that they have a shuttle to the American Family Stadium for the baseball game! We met some great people and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The staff are all so friendly and and made us feel at home! I highly recommend this hotel!!!

Rooms were ok, comfortable enough for what we needed. We could hear people on top floor walking around quite clearly. Staff was excellent. Justin goes up and above for customer service. The rest of the staff was quite friendly. On-site restaurant staff was great also. Shuttle service to and from game was top notch.

Nice room, comfortable beds. Staff was great and food was even better! Parking was left to be desired. But everything else made up for it.

Staff was great! The breakfast was wonderful & there was always someone cleaning, which made me feel really good. The restaurant had good food and replenished throughout the breakfast. We rated 3 for the room, because when we booked, it seemed as though there was a hot tub in the room (as it says in the description), but there was not one in the room.There was a hot tub and pool indoors & both were clean and not overcrowded.Another great thing was the shuttle service great driver & a good time

Fantastic! We were there during the state fair opening day and the city was packed.From the on sight restaurant to the great customer service at the front desk, to the shuttle driver, we were so pleased with our stay, we’ll be back!!!We didn’t plan a second night there, but we were so pleased, we asked if we could stay and they made it happen!The food in the restaurant is wonderful!The shuttle driver just started working there and he was great!!! It could not have been better!Rooms: Very clean! House keeping does a great job!Nearby activities: State fair and AmFam field!Shuttle there and back! So convenient!Food & drinks: Great prices!Fabulous food!

I actually didn’t get to stay at this Best Western franchise. But I want to submit a review to thank the front desk /reservation staff who worked on Tuesday evening, August 8, 2023. I arrived at Mitchell Airport in the evening of the 8th, needing a room for the night to fly out early next morning. It was only then I realized that I had erroneously booked this hotel online not the one a mile away! I called several times, but they were busy. Since I had used my points for the reservation, forfeiting was an option especially when I couldn’t cancel online. I had all but given up until later that night, the staff at this BW venue called. After patiently listening to my explanation, he kindly canceled the reservation for me and removed the charges for amenities and restored my BW reward points I had used for the booking. So, thank you very much for your help and understanding! And I hope to stay at you place in the near future.

If it weren't for Several of the front desk clerks, specifically Justin, my rating would be far less.. because of him and a few others, they made my stay there better than it would've been otherwise. We had been there for 3 while days and housekeeping didn't come to clean my room until they were made to. The Hispanic housekeeping crew made it really difficult to enjoy our stay to the fullest. The first day they had taken the dnd sign out of the inside of the room and put it on the outside of it. So the next day I took the sign away but they still never came to clean or room. They stared at us and it was really an uncomfortable feeling whenever we were around them. I only mentioned their race because there were two African American housekeepers that ended up taking care of us.. it's a shame too because the hotel is gorgeous and the housekeepers assigned to our suite make it bad for the business as a whole. I don't ever want to put my son in another position where he's exposed to blatant racism thru the actions of people we never did anything to. The lever should be made aware of what's going on and understand that people do the things those ladies did because they can get away with it.

Our room smelled and the tub was dirty when we got there but the staff was very friendly. The bartender Amanda showed us a great time. We went down to the hotel restaurant and bar three out of four nights we stayed. If you have the pleasure of getting drinks from her, tip well, she deserves it. The kitchen in the room is also very complete.
