Took my son to get an official teen bike and I'm not very knowledgeable. The person working was helpful pulling multiple bikes off the racks for him to see how he fit and size himself on the bikes. My sons been riding the bike now for a few weeks and loves it!!

I was just wondering if you guys sell bikes for studded tires? Basically bikes durable to survive rides in the winter.

Had a bike to donate but needed some parts swapped out for my new bike. Fully expected to have to leave the bikes to get the work completed but one of the staff got right after it and took care of everything while we waited a short time. Did an excellent job and we continue to be supporters of this great business. Much appreciated.

If you look hard enough there’s a resource for recycling almost anything! Over the years of helping sellers clean out a house, I’ve had to help them find new homes for everything from walkers to pianos. When it comes to bicycles, Dream Bikes MIlwaukee will take in your cast offs and refurbish them! A 501(c)3 non profit, they train young people from the community on bike repair skills while recycling those bikes! What a WIN WIN! You will even get a donation receipt for your taxes. So if you have some halfway decent bikes that are just taking up space @dreambikesmilwaukee will gladly take them in, clean them up, get them into good shape and then get them into new hands. “We believe in a bike and a job for everyone.” #DreamBikesMilwaukee

Dream bikes is not only a wonderful place to buy a refurbished bike, they are phenomenal community members. They have donated many bikes to my homeless clients- making a huge impact on their ability to get back on their feet. Cannot recommend them enough.

Awesome people, I broke one of my pedals, came in and picked out a new pair and they even let me use their wrench so I could ride home with my new pedals! They have a lot of bikes to choose from if your looking to buy one as well!

Good place to donate bikes to help train others on how to work on bikes and develop skill sets that carry over to employment opportunities. If you have any bikes that are no longer being used, donate them to DreamBikes.

This is the message I sent to Dream bikes "I purchased my bikes (2) from Dream Bikes about 6 years ago, unfortunately they were recently stolen. I repurchased my bike last week for 250$, I was hoping to get some what of a discount but it was not offered/allowed, but I needed a bike so I paid for it.I went to ride my bike for the first time yesterday (Sunday) and to my surprise my back tire is flat. I now have to wait until Dream bikes is open, take the wheel off, ruin the leather in the back seat of my car to hopefully not be put on a waitlist for a tire fix.I just purchased this bike, I am not sure why I have a flat tire. Can I have some of my money reimbursed for the inconvenience, my time wasted and gas for my car?"-I was offered a water bottle due to their business being a non-profit.

We caught up with Caroline today and she was simply splendid. They were about to close in fifteen minutes and yet they were more than accommodating. Queries were addressed and suggestions given regarding toolsets and minimum requirements for the bike. Will definitely visit again. In addition to this, they have a superb collection of refurbished bikes. TBH considering the scarcity of new bikes stock almost everywhere, we are deciding on closing a deal here for our second Bike, Thank you very much Caroline, you are Awesome ???

Came in to shop for a used bike. Found they have quite a large selection of used bikes which have been restored to full functionality, at the lower end range of reasonable used prices. When you walk through the door, one of the usually 2 or 3 people working on repairing bikes toward the back of the store will say "Hi" but they leave you alone to browse on your own. No pesky looking over your shoulder or pressure tactics. (Each bike has a tag, which tells you its size and the price). If you have a question, just approach the counter and let them know you have a question or need help. After about 20 minutes of looking at various bikes, I asked for help. One of the guys stopped what he was doing, instantly gave me his full attention, and very intelligently and honestly answered all my questions in a straightforward way. I mentally picked out 2 bikes, I thought would be good choices for me and then left, deciding I should do some more research and "sleep on it" before deciding which one to buy. After more research, I mentally "picked" one of these, i.e., the one from the manufacturer with the better reputation for higher quality components as between the two. I also decided that I would bring in my existing bike (which I bought used elsewhere and had ridden for 7 years) for an estimate of what it would cost to repair all of the several things necessary to restore acceptable function and, if the cost seemed high relative to the cost of buying the replacement bike I had picked, I would buy the "new" bike and donate the old one. When I came in the following day with my existing bike, I talked with the same guy, explained the entire situation, and asked for an estimate. He looked things over, made a couple of extra modest repair suggestions, and gave me an itemized estimate---all in about 5 minutes or less! The estimate was considerably less than I know, from experience, I probably would have been quoted at a couple of other bike stores in Milwaukee, and more than $200 less than the price of the replacement bike, so I decided to go the repair route. The repairs on my existing bike were completed in a couple of days and it now rides just fine, with a couple of new spokes, tuned up wheels, new grip shifter, new tires, new rear brake, and new chain. If you are looking for a reasonably priced used bike and/or need bike repairs, I highly recommend DreamBikes-Milwaukee.

Excellent staff and environment. I was able to get a small issue with my brakes fixed immediately and buy a new helmet at a great price. Thank you to the woman who helped me out, I wish I would have gotten her name-she was very kind and helpful!

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. They made a small repair for super cheap and did it right away. Plus this shop actually helps people learn skills. I'd support them over a fancy bike shop any day.
