This was our 2nd time using Drifty's, 1st time was a canoe this time was 2 kayaks. Employees were friendly and helpful. This section of Kickapoo River is great for relaxing, with only a few technical parts and little fast water, with sandbars to stop along the route

Staff was very kind and generous with their time. Main man at desk helped us by telling us about the river and let us know where we could station our cars. The shuttle service to our put-in and take-out points was very helpful and informative as well. The river itself is very very muddy though, so be aware!!

My husband and I are new to kayaking. We explained this when booking our day at Drifty's. The River current path was explained to us, stopping points, pull out areas, timing for bridge numbers, pick up times, all explained! We were so pleased with their care and help!! BEAUTIFUL trip, experience. We will definitely be back. Thank you Drifty's

Incredibly nice people who genuinely just wanted you to have a great time
The prices were extremely fair. If you have your own kayak or paddleboard, this is a great option as they were the most affordable for transportation that we could find.

I've been going every year for the past 7 years, and I love it! Single kayaks, double kayaks, canoes, tubes, they have it! Always suggest this place to everyone I can. Staff are beyond friendly, good people, and quality rental options. On time, pick up every time. Will give you suggestions/recommendations. Best birthday I've had in a long time and just a good time for a group of friends/family. Don't worry about your car keys either. They've got you covered with a lock box!

We could not recommend Drifty's more! The owners are the kindest people we have ever met, and went way beyond the second mile with their service. We were camping at Wildcat Mountain State Park and wanted to go out on our paddle boards for a ride down the Kickapoo River (not knowing that it was a one-way river and that we wouldn't be able to turn around and paddle back to our parked car at the campsite boat landing). Once we realized this, we went off at the first bridge landing we came across, and tried to find a way to walk back to our car, which would've been near an hour minimum of a walk on the highway. We decided to ask one of the bus drivers of Drifty's Canoe Rental for advice on how to make it back to our boat landing. He, without hesitation, offered to drop us off at our landing and wouldn't accept payment. Turns out, we accidentally had him take us back to the wrong boat landing, and we felt at a loss for what to do next. Per recommendation of the park ranger, we called Drifty's to see if there were any other available shuttles. The owner himself picked up, and soon he made the connection that we were the same couple he had just dropped off! He had his wife, co-owner, drop everything she was doing to give us a ride back to our correct landing in her own personal vehicle. They saved our day, and will forever be getting our business and our highest recommendation! If we could give 100 stars, we would. :)

My dad and I rented a canoe and chose our trip length based on the recommendation of the owner. He was very friendly and informative. We didn’t have to do any work for the put in at all and enjoyed a little over two hours drifting down the river. The landing was easy to find and pull the canoe on to. We got there about an hour earlier than projected but the shuttle arrived within ten minutes of us waiting! Very positive experience all around. Thanks for making our stay at Wildcat that much better, Drifty’s!

Driftys and all employees were a class act. Knowledgeable, confident, and ensured the trip went as smoothly as possible. Shuttle service was prompt and on time. Most beautiful river I've ever kayaked.
