Absolute terrible service. The woman at the register was rude and unhelpful. She and the rest of the staff absolutely ruined my experience with their terrible attitudes and pretentious comments.

I typically don't like the feel of most ranges and gunshops. Reason being it's another field of life long shooters and know-it-alls that tend to look down on the newbies. The range of Richfield however did not make me feel that way. Dudes at the desk were nice, fast, and got my son and I to shooting quickly. I thought the price was great even, and what a clean, nice facility. Will return and recommend. (Pro Tip-) pick targets that are larger than the cardboard carrier they attach to. Lol.

We had a nice time! Darren is very knowledgable and helped us decide what to rent. Kevin was also very kind and attentive in the range. Will come back.

Based on what I’ve read there appears to be mixed reviews depending upon which employee people have interacted with. Here is my experience. I ordered a pistol online and had it sent here for the background check and transfer. As I went through the process, everyone was kind and it went smoothly. I didn’t get an instant approval so I waited around for a response. I decided to look at safes as I am in the market for a bigger one. The owner approached me and was very helpful and polite. Though I didn’t end up making a purchase, he gave me a catalog of different available safes. While I was talking with him, my approval went through and I was able to take home my new pistol. As I was leaving the owner gave me 2 passes for free range time. All in all I was in and out in about 30 minutes. It was a great customer service experience and I hope more people have the same experience as I did.

I went here because I wanted to shoot a gun. I had never done it and I was pretty excited to try it. Everyone working there was really nice and pleasant, especially the gentleman who observed me inside the shooting range. The older guy behind the register was another story. Not sure who this guy was but he was not pleasant, very short, borderline rude IMO. He made me so uncomfortable that I had second thoughts about being there. In the end, the guy was just an a**. My buddy agreed with me. Won't recommend this place if that dude is working. All other other employees were really nice. I'm iving this place 2 stars because this business was supposed to be an exciting first time experience for me. The only nice thing I can say about it is that the rest of the staff was kind and helpful except for that guy. Very disappointing.

Bear Arms in Mequon is 100x better! Better customer service than the range of Richfield. One day was went inside to look for gun accessories, a young woman and a older blonde woman was at the front desk. NOT one said hello or greeted me when I walked in. I asked them if they had what I wanted to buy. They both shook their heads no...... not saying the word "no" and I said "Ok thank you". Not one of them said have a good day or bye to me when I walked out of the door.

As french, we went there with a friend who has never shot before. We explain our situation to the staff who was very kind and help us to choose the good weapons for a great experience. We were helped and supervise during the whole session to make sure we stay safe for us and others. The price was decent. Moreover, I really appreciate the variety of pistols. It was a really cool experience and the spot is very well equipped. We'll surely go back to try the rifles this time.

Went here on Father's Day with my son and the intention of purchasing an AR-15 and trying out the range. After being in the store about 15 minutes, nobody was really interested in asking if I needed help so I approached the kid at the register(I say kid prob early to mid 20's).He said can I help you and I asked him if he knew anything about AR's and he replied "I know I like to build them rather than buy them". I told him I was completely new to them so was looking to purchase a complete gun. He asked my budget and I said I'd like to stay in the $1500 range and he told me "OH that's plenty to get something good!". I proceeded to ask a few questions about certain things like barrel twist(7:1-9:1, chrome lined vs. stainless or mil spec triggers vs. drop ins. His answers were very shoulder shruggy and told me it was mostly personal preference after I had suggested that as an answer. Same reply as far as barrel length 16" vs like 20". In the end he suggested Aero as a good contender for me(I never heard of Aero but figured I would look into them).I then asked what kind of AR's they carried seeing only a few on the wall on the AR wall which consisted of what looked to be the lower end $700ish to $1000 price range(Springfield Saint/M&P Sport ect) and was told that is all they had. I asked if I could order others and was pointed to a lady behind a counter. On approaching this woman I asked what type of AR's they had available for order(I know could be a ton) and she replied "You're going to have to be more specific. I said I'm looking for something in .556 in the $1500 range and she told me, "yea you might want to go research what you want and then figure that out first because I don't know what you're looking for." I mentioned Colt's M4 she said, yea I can't get those, I mentioned Armalite to see if that was an option "no I can't get those either" So I fell back on employee #1's suggestion of an Aero and she said she can't get those, they are ordered from Aero directly.I said ty and walked away. The entire time having the feeling I was unwelcome there, my son felt it as well. It was almost like we were bothering them on their brake. The range looked alright but by then my son had no interest in staying and I didn't either, we left and went to Cabela's down the street....and that's a whole other story.TLDR; Know what you want, don't expect service or knowledge, and God be with you if you need to interact with someone...

Nice facilities, but terrible service. Recently bought a safe at this place. seems like they didn’t care how they treat people. Also lack of communication. a month went by with no update on my safe plus my safe door is bent. Jim is the owner and operator of the liberty safe store inside the range not too big of a help. If you want to have a decent experience this is not your place

First time on the range and I felt pretty good about it. It was a safe but really relaxed environment. They went over the rules, answered any questions and let us go on our way. Yeah you can’t just mag dump but they’re reasonable with how quick you can shoot and how frequent. The range is clean and the staff are friendly, I only wish they had something like magnets so we can stick our targets to the wall for storage since there are only two tables per bay and I can see that getting pretty crowded. The ventilation is good, I shot a recently sprayed suppressor at. The range and it came out like a black powder rifle but it cleared out pretty quick

If you’re having a good day and want it to be ruined walk right on into the range in Richfield. They’re about as rude as it gets. That was my second time in a row going in there and they were quite rude. I will not give them my business and I’m glad I have a lot of family and friends that are big into firearms because I will share my experience with them as well.
