This is a great stop, super collection of firearms and related relics. Owner is so friendly and willing to share his knowledge. Civil War and Custer's Last Stand era artifacts are especially amazing.

Very interesting ! We arrived on the day, they were closing for the winter, but they graciously remained open so we could visit !

My favorite gun museum! I have been to a few firearms museums. This is the best. It is very different from what you might expect. These are guns found rusting and rotting away somewhere. Very few have a known origin, but they all have a story. It is up to you to imagine how that gun ended up rusting away for over a hundred years. I found this fascinating. Some are damaged from malfunction and may well have caused the death of the operator. Small but very interesting if you have the imagination for it. Donations only at the time I visited.

Hans & Eva were quite informative about the guns of the Old West. What interesting finds.

We were very disappointed as you were not open on June 6th and your website stated you would be open in May. Interested in looking around and possibly purchasing firearms, but was not open and no sign to indicate reason for not being open. Website and front door could be updated as a courtesy.

If you have any interest in history or firearms this is the place to visit. The collection is outstanding I only wish I'd had more time, there is not only exhibits but in most cases there's a detailed description or details related to each object where found and the manufacturer and country of origin. The owner is a subject matter expert on the contents of the museum. It's also free but please leave a donation to preserve this segment of history.

Love these obscure 'object' museums put together by passionate people who enjoy collecting and talking about history. The owner has amassed a huge number of old guns I've never seen or heard of (but I'm not a gun aficionado). Pepper guns? Fob guns? Palm guns? He needs a bigger space to display them all. You won't be disappointed and it is a must see if you will be in Cody. Donations accepted! Also, ck out the Hammer Museum in Haines Alaska too!

I stumbled upon this place after dinner and had no idea what I was walking into, but I'm so glad I did. Its an amazing collection of dug up and found firearms from the last few centuries until WW2. So many oddities and rarities you won't see again. Each piece features short information and stories which makes it great for anybody with or without knowledge. The icing on the cake for me was the owner. He is amazingly friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about the collection. If you stop in be sure to ask questions about the pieces as he has so much more information and countless stories he can't fit on the small cards in the cases. Highly recommend anybody to stop in, just be sure to take no pictures! He takes donations as entry fees so be sure to leave something if you enjoyed it as much as I did. I hope I can stop back in someday.
