“Today I was grabbing a few things from TJ’s for dinner and the cashier was very up beat. I apologized to her for being so morose but I’d put my cat away yesterday (he had cancer) and I just wanted to get home to grieve. Along with the offer of a hug she gave me a small bouquet of flowers while offering her condolences.I wish I had looked at her name tag because she deserves lots of thanks for her offers of support and sympathy on a day which is very hard for me. Thank you!”
“Good food and good service. Took off a star bcuz it was pricey. We got 4 types of sandwiches(pastrami, prime rib, veggie and turkey club,) and everyone really enjoyed their sandwich. Got pistachio and chocolate chip cannoli's and they were just OK. I think they were filled with a ricotta mixture. I prefer a Marscapone filling.”
“The staff is very friendly and willing to take the time to explain whatever details of your question needs to be answered. They also gave me different tips on how to use different types of lures and different rigs to use for bait fishing. They have a vast selection of all kinds of fishing equipment.”
“All the Nugget Markets are wonderful. This one is no exception. I love to do my grocery shopping in Nugget. I usually go to the one in Elk Grove. I am in the area today, and I want to purchase some salads for my lunch tomorrow. This Nugget Markets is a perfect choice.The store looks as good as the one in Elk Grove. It is spotless, and I love the store layout. And the bakery department in Nugget is always my favorite!”

“I got 3 dozen cocktail buns for my son's class for his birthday. They were so much more special than cupcakes or cookies from the supermarket. Picking them up at 8am when the bakery opened, the bread was still warm. Some Chinese bakeries use a sticky egg wash to glaze the tops of gaimeibao, charsiubao, etc. This place does not glaze the tops. It makes it less fancy to look at but cleaner to hold. They also have many baked/steamed filled buns. No frills, nothing fancy, seating but no service, cash only. This is the simple and tasty.”
“the food here is BOMBBB. south area market is definitely a mom and pop shop but in the best way possible!! the front of the store is a small convenience market but in the pack is where all the to-go food is stored. i came and ordered 3 items: lao sausage, papaya salad, and pandan jelly. the lao sausage was so crispy on the outside but flavorful and juicy in the inside!! meanwhile, the papaya salad satisfied all my cravings and is perfect served cold on a hot day. i really enjoyed having the option to customize the spice level through picking the number of chilis that went into the sauce. the service was also super quick and convenient. i'll definitely be returning again in the future! next time would love to try the pad thai or larb. this spot is for sure a gem in sacramento”
“Came to get some Masa for New Years. Staff were really nice and accommodating. We ended up also ordering a couple of their tamales and the Ranchero Super Burrito. The tamales and the Ranchero burrito were really good. Full of flavor and had a nice spicy kick. I really enjoyed the burrito and will be getting another one soon lol. The masa was really fresh and helped me make the best tamales.”
“I appreciate that you can still get a basic sandwich at Sprouts for under $5 with sourdough bread, mustard/mayo, onion, lettuce, tomato that is really good and filling but not too filling.”

“This is my go-to for Asian groceries! They have Asian vegetables that you don't see at a typical grocery store, unique sauces, dried noodles, fun snacks, etc. They also have a small kitchen in the back of the store, serving spicy Laos papaya salad (my favorite) wings, lunch/dinner rice plates, etc. The owners/employees and very friendly, I always talk to the nice lady that rings me up. The place is very clean too!”
“Beat lamb chops in town. Hands down.This place is a store that opened up a little restaurant type style in the back. It is very informal and that one time had no covering at all. It’s simply on the side of the building however, don’t let the setting for you. Some of the best meat, rice and salad I have ever had.I’ve been coming off anon for the last year, and I believe they are open only Thursday through Saturday but you can’t go wrong with any of the food.I’ve never ate at a place where anything the brain is amazing.For dessert go with the baklava. some of the best in town.The fish is also very good, but the lamb chops are like no other.”
“This spot is a great escape to authentic Korean dishes! Jjanganyam brought my girlfriend to happy tears because it reminded her of home so heavy. We return everything qw get a craving but don't wanna cook. Great products to purchase as well!”

“Introduced to goodful when I purchased a surprise bag from Too Good Togo - and I must say that the produce I received was soo flavorful and delicious, waaaay better than any chain grocery store. I was able to make a tasty salsa with the peppers that I received. Will definitely be back!”
“Back on the boujee CA grocery stores. This is top of the list! Why is it so clean and pretty! Anyways, love the selection sprouts have! Especially for fresh fruit and fresh vegetables. Organic basically anything and everything! I love getting sandwich meat and fresh seafood here! The store is so organized, people are nice!”
“If you are an affectionado of olive oil this is the place to be in old Sacramento. Aside from the town of Corning, CA. I have never found a large mix and types of olive oil. Great with bread and cooking. Every type of flavor imaginable. Jalapeno, espresso, berries, etc”

“This Grocery Outlet is one of the biggest Grocery Outlets in the area. It has more items than the other Grocery Outlets. I stop by sometimes to check out if they have any good deals.This store is big. It almost looks like a mini FoodCo, but with all the bargains inside. The store is clean and very well laid out. It is easy to understand where the items are located. The check-out counters are very fast too!”
