“I would give Portia 10 stars if I could. Buying a mattress is a task I’d been putting off for over a year, and mine had been about 12 years old. I had no idea what I was doing, and every question, no matter how insane or annoying, Portia answered with a thoughtful calm patience (even though I was asking the same thing twice sometimes). Based on your needs and preferences they can help direct you to the right mattress fit and you can test everything without getting overwhelmed. Their return policy and price match are excellent and add some sense of security to such a large purchase. The level of service and personalization is really impressive and exceptional.”

“As this Room and Board was in downtown DC, I did not exist the store to be so large. It occupies all 3 floors of the corner building it occupies and there are many pieces of furniture, rugs, accessories, lamps, etc. I really like the mid- century modern/ contemporary furniture and the textiles (pillows, rugs, linens) are terrific. If you're in the market for this style of furniture or home goods, this is a great stop to make.”
“I was buying a condo in Silver Spring, Maryland and needed furniture. I budgeted $10,000 for furniture, area rugs, TV, printer, Vitamix blender and kitchen stuff, not appliances. We needed Living Room, Dining Room, Office and Bedroom. I first called Basset, sent them a floor plan and told them what I had budgeted. The next day I get an email telling me that she had done the dining room set and rug. The dining room set was just under $4,000 and the rug was $2,500. 2/3 of my budget for one room? Clearly not the place for me. I found Casa Furniture online, the prices are very reasonable and I furnished the whole place for the budget I figured. The best part is that they delivered and set it all up and put everything in place. Just as important, everything is very well made and looks amazing. I could not have been happier.”
