“My experience at the Walgreens Pharmacy in Washington DC was exceptional, largely due to the efforts of Hayder and Amon. Their proficiency in swiftly transferring my prescription from Miami to Washington DC was impressive. They not only expedited the transfer process but also were incredibly helpful with the utilization of the GoodRx coupon, ensuring I received the best possible price. Their professional and attentive service significantly enhanced my experience. This Walgreens Pharmacy, particularly Hayder and Amon, are highly recommended for their top-notch customer assistance and efficiency.”

“Two level Walgreens with escalator and elevator. Downstairs is the health, beauty, toys and cards. Upstairs is all the drinks and food. I felt safe shopping since they have a police officer at the front door. They charge 5 cents per plastic bag and they won't tell you ahead of time.”

“This Harris Teeter is situated in the NOMA Gallaudet area which means to caters to a HOH population. My experiences at Harris Teeter have been varied depending on what I have on. Today, my experience was better.”

“This Giant has lots of what it does have, but I used to live near the Silver Spring Giant and the lack of a hot bar is glaring. It has packaged prepared foods like chicken, but they are cold, not hot, so they need to be reheated. You can't just grab some hot fried chicken and take it to a summer picnic. There is a salad bar, I realize not every Giant even has that, but a hot bar would be appreciated. They do have sushi, but no actual sushi bar, it's all premade. Several lights in the frozen section were burned out, both in the ceiling and in the freezers themselves, making the aisle noticeably darker. The frozen meals section seemed limited, although there was plenty of frozen stuff in general. The layout took some getting used to. The canned fruit section needs help, especially the store brand--you should always be able to get canned fruit in juice, no added sugar. They had every version of fruit cocktail/mixed fruit except in juice. Light syrup, heavy syrup, water with artificial sweetener, etc. In juice should be the default. Canned fruit doesn't need extra sweetener, calories, etc. Del Monte had it, but the store brand is much cheaper. The fresh bakery section seemed a little lacking. When you don't have a car and need a supermarket next to a subway, this a great place to go. In DC only Giant, Safeway, Harris Teeter, and Wegmans have full inventory. If you want a 1 stop shop you have to go to one of these. Amazon and Whole foods don't cut it. There aren't that many right at subway stations, most are on bus lines. Bethesda has giant and safeway walking distrance but not right at the station. So this is a good place to stop on the way home.”

“Updated review: The location is perfect. Parking is free. I noticed that Harris Teeter is more focused on how long customers park in the garage. I saw a person with a clipboard on a recent trip. With several options in a small radius (Safeway, Giant, Trader Joe's, Walmart) there are some items I don't need to purchase from Harris Teeter. HT has great sales to get you in the door. If you don't need two items when they are "Buy one get one free," you can get just one item for half price. The produce section is hit or miss. There are a few items that are locally grown. I like getting tomatoes and supporting local business. Some of my favorites plant based or meat free items aren't stocked anymore (Worthington, Loma Linda). Morning Star items are stocked (less variety and priced higher than Walmart & Safeway). There are interesting clearance items that are always placed so they are noticed after I have already checked out. The store has a nice seating area for grabbing something for lunch & resting a minute. The personal touch has left the store. Even at peak shopping hours, there will only be one or two registers open. More self check out registers were added. I like interacting with a person when I check out. The shopping carts disappear quickly. If you see one in the parking area, grab it.”

“It's 7:00 AM, I'm dressing for a business meeting, and I forgot socks. This CVS was two blocks away from my hotel and took a chance they'd have a pair. Yes! With helpful service, a good woman said to got to aisle 9. They had black dress socks! T-shirts and underwear too. Always good to know!”

“This is a nice store. I found everything I was looking for. The reason for this 5 star review though, is Michael, the Special Security Officer. I noticed him going out of his way to help customers. It made me smile to see how positive and caring he was with them. And then, he went out of his way to help me! Seriously Walgreens, Michael should be the face of your company in your advertising. If every Walgreens associate was like Michael your competitors would go out of business.”

“Kept calling the Money transfer before going for an hour with no answer. Took a chance and went to this one. The one on Georgia Ave was not working. I was happy to know it wasn't a Walmart wide problem.”

“I always receive such good service here. The staff is usually very helpful. Tracey went out of her way to find me something I was looking for that I couldn't find it on my own. Ms Bunny is always friendly and welcoming. Just be aware of your surroundings. They do have security and police around the clock to make it a bit safer though.”

“This CVS location is clean, organized and the staff are pleasant. I came here for a COVID test and they have availability to take it via the Drive Thru. This location has a private parking lot and is next to several decent food options. Another reason to come here is that it's next to a Mexican restaurant called J & J's Mex-Taqueria and they have my favorite type of tacos - Birrias!! -ODL Connect with me! IG & YouTube: @AOEAT”

“This is my local CVS. They are always very busy or even overwhelmed- keep in mind, only the angry are posting Yelp reviews. I usually get my Rx on time or even expedited when there is an emergency without hassle. When I go for a vax it's been easy and the pharmacist or nurse has been very pleasant. Be patient people.”

“Excellent customer service from Dr. Karen, the pharmacist in the 3301 New Mexico Ave., NW, store. She goes the extra mile for her customers. I've transferred prescriptions there from other pharmacies because I find she's so pleasant to interact with and she gets it right for her customers!”
