“Noteworthy details: The toilets in all the rooms do not close. There is actually a huge gap between the door and the wall. This was a design decision. However, I would prefer to have closing toilet doors with more privacy. Thank you.”
“This is our second time staying here for an event. The rooms are well accommodated. The staff is friendly and kind. We will be back again. The shuttle service is well run and the young lady who ran the program during the event has proven to be hard working working, kind and thoughtful. Thank you for everything and helping make our trip relaxing and enjoyable .”
“If you ever in come to New Jersey never come to this hotel. First off there was a pungent smell that was terrible when i opened the door. As i was looking around i saw so many bigs (cockroaches) and flies. Honesty i wouldnt have chosen this motel if it wasn’t for our late decisions/ last minute planning for what places to stay at. They charged us TRIPLE! THATS RIGHT TRIPLE! For our one night stay. For all of these cons it’s not worth it for this terrible hotel. All my peers felt uncomfortable and unsafe within this environment. I hope if you ever look for a place to stay in New Jersey, iREPEATT I REPEAT, don’t stay at the Howard Johnson!”

“rooms were clean. staff was nice + friendly + helpful. hotel conveniently close to bus stop + 5-10 min walk - NJ Transit + several routes into NYC/Times Square about 10-15 min bus ride. hotel offered breakfast - made to order for reasonable price. gateway lounge - open thursday to sunday + offers happy hour + food menu on level 5. starbucks also nearby - walking distance.Noteworthy details: great alternative option near NYC - quick bus ride to Times Square”
