“What can you say about TJs that hasn’t been said already. This location always is clean and very friendly staff. But of a drive for me but often visit when I’m in the area. Sadly the TJ brand of beer seems to be dwindling.”

“Really affordable priced fruit!! They even had some seasonal fruit and grinded seasonings. I must’ve got there early because I was gonna order agua frescas from the stand inside but they only had lemonade. It was so good though I didn’t mind ? definitely recommend stopping by! This is what I got for $39. Also if prices are higher than competitors, they are willing to price match. Support local businesses!”

“Honestly, I’m not quite sure which H-E-B this is because I go to so many but if you appreciate room to shop and pass each other in the isles, pushing a cart or driving one, the H-E-B on Brazos that has the parking garage attached is the shiz!!! you walk straight to a sliding glass door grab a motorized shopping cart driving in one way to the elevator and then drive it straight out when you reached your desired level. Never seen anything like it! It’s the H-E-B that carries everything not just Hillcountry fair and H-E-B. Brands that check it out.”

“It is great to now have more options for groceries in this area. We needed something like this. Sprouts always has the best options when it comes to organic produce. They also have extras that you can't find in your local grocery store and ready to eat meals. Yes, sometimes it could be more expensive. Best is to take advantage of their sales. They also send coupons in the mail every so often where you get so much off when you buy so much. This location is big and spacious inside. It looks modern and clean. Don't forget to bring your re-usable bags. Parking is on site, but shared with the other businesses. I've never had an issue with parking.”

“I got to the Botanical Gardens earlier than usual today, so it was time for lunch when I left. I like to find "new to me" places to eat in that area instead of going back home and re-visiting the same old places. I was definitely in the mood for either Korean or Indian food, so I did a "Korean food near me" search in Apple Maps and the Korean Market was only about 4.8 miles away, so I didn't even bother looking for anywhere else. The restaurant is actually in a fairly large Korean market. I was shocked by how small it is. There are eight tables crammed into a very small room. You really have to squeeze through to get to your seat. I felt guilty because there was only one table for four left. I sat there for a few minutes before I realized nobody was coming to take my order. I asked a lady at a neighboring table, and she told me I needed to go up and order at the window. They had a nice sign over the window with the menu. It didn't have Korean names for some of the dishes. There were descriptions like: Blackbean Sauce with Noodles, which I assumed was jajangmyeon. There were plenty of good things to choose from like bulgogi, kimchi fried rice, and kimchi pancakes. The lady who told me where to order had been raving with a man at table by her about the Spicy Seafood with Noodles. I decided to order that. It turned out to be a HUGE bowl of soup loaded with shrimp, crab, octopus, squid, vegies, and noodles. The broth was absolutely delicious. It tasted of the sea. I was in heaven, although it was hot as hell! It was so hot that I had to let it cool down because the noodles hanging down from the chopsticks were burning my chin! The soup was served with four side dishes. They were kimchi, spicy cucumber, fish cakes, and pickled radish. Each was portioned perfectly in one of those little checkered paper things that french fries used to come in way back. (I did notice that a Korean man who by all appearances was visiting from Korea, got his served in silver trays.) No biggie. When I finished eating, I bussed my own table. They have signs on the walls letting you know that there is no staff to clean up after you, and you are expected to clear your own mess. I am fine with that. I wandered around the market for a while. I saw a lot of things I wanted to buy, but I have a friend visiting for a week and don't think I will have time to cook anything. I did grab some single-serve instant Tteok-bokki. I will definitely be back to eat here in the future and try some other dishes. I think I can figure out what some of them are from the description. But, just to be sure, I'll learn how to pronounce my favorites and ask if they have them.”

“This is my go-to shopping place. Things can get a little hectic inside the store on many days because so many people are shopping there. I think they need wider aisles because it is too difficult to have two lanes of traffic plus people having to search for items on shelves. Add to that all the stockers who are trying to unload product and the big shopper cart trying to pick up items for curbside delivery, make it very hectic. I have gotten hit by rude, impatient shoppers trying to push their way through crowded aisles.

On the plus side the employees are always very friendly and helpful, the store is usually well stocked and I can almost always find what I am looking for. (Those friendly employees always stop what they are doing and help me find what I need.) Also the store is clean and pretty well organized. (Except when they are re-organizing things!) The food is fresh and always has use by dates well marked.

And I love that they have so many easy to make pre-made meals so I can get a meal on the table quickly when I get home. And they are always adding new meals so as not to have the same old, same old to choose from every day.

I do like shopping for some plants there, as well as fresh flowers for when I need a nice gift. And except on holidays, there is always ample parking.

I love my H E B!”

“To my surprise there is a location in San Antonio ? My first experience was in Corpus Christi. Love Natural Grocers. Fun place to walk the isles for new items, healthy items and holistic items. It's my go-to when I need something. I was in town for the week and instead of the big chain; Whole Foods...I wanted something more quaint and personable Love this store!”

“An excellent Russian store with a great selection and friendly service. We found so many things we have been looking for like buckwheat, kvass, pelmeni, Georgian wines, Georgian sparkling waters, you name it, they have it! I’m very impressed with the amount of Russian imports vs European imports. Very well done ?I would recommend this store to family and friends!”

“First time shopping at Arnold's ... I'll DEFINITELY be back. Got some of the in-house fresh Kielbasa German Sausage for our Christmas Eve Feast and couldn't have been more pleased. Excellent product and excellent service at the store. Don't be fooled by the looks, it may be a small shop in an older strip mall but it's clean and you'll be greeted with a smile and served quickly. Next time I'll order some steaks along with more sausage.”

“Ok, so I'm from out of state, and we don't have grocery stores like this where I'm from. My biggest praise for HEB is that their sushi rolls are insanely good. Like, how does a grocery store offer some of the best sushi I've ever had?! Amazing.

Also, HEB's brands are better than the competitors, and cheaper to boot. I'm sold, HEB is the best.”

“H-E-B is great! Seriously, I love this place. This location is an older store. There is plenty packed into the store but the selection is a little limited and you may not find your favorite items that are available at the newer stores. That being said, this location offers its community of shoppers everything they need. Can't find an item - just ask for help. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help. H-E-B does a great job supporting and servicing their local community.”

“I love this HEB! It is quaint and small. Everything I need is here and well organized and easy to find. Great selection of wine and beer. Bakery is kind of small but it's a small HEB so it's understandable. If I need pistachio cranberry bread, almond croissants, or cannoli the Lincoln heights store AKA (the gucci-B) isn't that far away.”

“This is a small market but everything you need is here. It’s always clean and well stocked and you don’t need to go on a scavenger hunt to find the name brand products like at HEB! Wish they would build one in the stone oak area.”
