Vermont Funeral Home established in the 1800's and in 1998 it was purchased by John D. Workman. While ownership may have changed from time to time over the years, the integrity, trust and service to families has always been of utmost importance and continues in the A. W. Rich tradition. In 2009 we brought our same compassion and dedicated care to our Direct Cremation Services families. In 2015 we offered our first pet services to our families for the cremation of your beloved fur babies. In 2018 A W Rich Funeral Home, Direct Cremation Services and Island Memorial Pet Service enhanced our services with an onsite cremation facility at our Fairfax location in order for your loved one to always be in our care.
