“Just popped in for the first time yesterday after having rode past on my bike a couple times a week & had a lovely experience. Excellent service & selection of items (some you won’t find anywhere else) at a great location. Even has a decently large corner for everyday grocery items.”

“Easy crossing on the ferry to Lummi Island. Just get there early and wait in your car in the lines. You can get out and grab somethings at the new Lummi bay market/convenience store across the road while you wait. They also have a decent restroom. But get back to your car before the ferry arrives. Ferry staff is really great at packing all the cars in tight. Just follow there instructions and enjoy the view on the short ride over.”

“I’ve eaten here many times and had Mexican cuisine all around whatcom county. This is definitely the best asada burrito around and the asada fries are also amazing. Priced well too compared to what you get from other taco trucks”
“Unexpected rarity ~ on a gloomy rainy drive we pull over for a break. Inside you find a fully stocked station with all the conveniences you might need in the middle of nowhere. To our surprise was a nicely faux painted bathroom that was very clean. But the real reason for this review was the minority owner who was genuinely friendly with greetings and thank yous to all the customers. Wished every neighborhood had this kind of service.”

“THE ONLY place open through the night. Sometimes they randomly put a note on the door out of nowhere saying they'll be back in 2 hours so that can be annoying when you need gas, are on a time limit and risked making a further trip to get to them hoping to be able to get gas and it ruined my night.”

“Incredibly clean restrooms, best gas prices, great selection and very kind, helpful staff. There is often a food truck out front as well. Always my 1st choice for a fuel up.I will also say I have never reviewed a gas station or rest stop before but felt inclined to do so because this place is THAT good. Clean bathrooms are so under rated when on the road.Thanks 260! Yall are very appreciated.”
“I have been going here for years because the family is so nice! Now it is incredibly convenient being between my work and home - but it has been near different jobs I have had for several years. They are always nice and always have a treat waiting for my dog even if he is not with me. I find it a little bit unfair that some people are giving low star reviews as a result of the homeless people that they may run into during a visit. That is everywhere downtown at this point, and has nothing to do with the owners of this business. They are great people and the store has what you would expect/need from a convenience store. Definitely a family/business to support!”

“The Walgreens Pharmacy, on Samish is the best Pharmacy we’ve ever been too. Daniel, Marilyn, and Nick, are always so nice and helpful, they bend over backwards to ensure we get the best service every time we need a prescription. They are all super knowledgeable, and genuinely concerned about our health and well being. Unless it’s absolutely necessary, we never take our business anywhere else. Just a great pharmacy.”

“I love the feel of Silver Beach grocery! It is a small, neighborhood store that does a good business. Reasonable prices for having a corner on the local Silver Beach market. Staff are friendly and welcoming! I just wish they would build a roof-top deck so we could enjoy the lake view with one of their beers!”

“The only things I buy here are energy drinks, snacks, and the Monte Cristo sandwich. Wonderful establishment and very close walking distance. Everyone is very kind, and they even recently upgraded the store to provide lots of candy options!They also have lots of alcohol and smoke options and although I do not purchase these, other people seem to really enjoy the selection! It is all very colorful and well organized.Definitely worth taking a look whether you are a Bellingham local or visiting Bellingham from out of the state or country. Feels like Willy Wonka's Chcocolate Factory!”

“This place is special to me that’s why I’ve been waiting to guide you here. I wanted to dive deep, really get a smell of the roses so I could stay true to my responsibility as local guide.With competition very near, this establishment is nestled between a rock and a hard place. You see, Harriet Haggen was after Mr. Six’s sales of discounted bacon, cheese and butter. Mr Seventy Six recruited the help from his friend Sam. Sam was a larger fella, and boy could he eat. Folks back then would call him “Starvin Sam” because he would always eat so much. Sam had the brilliant idea of painting his own name on Mr Seventy Six’s building so people would think it was his business. That way when Harriet Haggen came shopping down the road, they wouldn’t think anything different, just good Ol’ Sam and his Starvin’ self.Local Guide,OutOhhh yeah and I almost got pooped on by a seagull once here”
