“Trader Joe’s carry hard to find ingredients.One if my appetizers starts with a base of California Sundried Apricot (Turkish Apricots don’t work), next pit a small piece of Stilton cheese, top it with a hazelnut.Trader Joe’s has all three, all excellent quality and wonderful flavours.Mwhich are difficult to find. The slight tartness and apricot flavour to pairs perfectly with the Stilton”
“This is THE best place to shop for Asian groceries in Bellingham. They carry a huge variety of hard to find foods. I have shopped there for many years. The people who own the store are two of the nicest people in the world. We love them!!!”
“Great sandwich. Super nice cashier. No seating inside. A few chairs outside. Nice sandwich bar with lots of Mexican dishes. I had a unique sandwich with pork called Pambazo. Amazingly delicious and good portion”

“One of the best tacos I’ve ever had. Highly recommend Al Pastor and Chicken tacos. Their meat is cooked to perfection! I am talking - melt in your mouth soft!!!Their Chicharron pupusas were also super yummy and super cheesy.”
“Very low prices for name brand products, just need to look at the expiration dates. They sometimes cut it close to the date but the FDA requires that there be a date on food and produce that's sold, so it doesn't necessarily mean the food is bad unless we're talking about milk or dairy products lol.”

“I’ve eaten here many times and had Mexican cuisine all around whatcom county. This is definitely the best asada burrito around and the asada fries are also amazing. Priced well too compared to what you get from other taco trucks”

“Back to Bellingham for Trader Joe and Costco shopping, so had to include a stop at Neto's. The burritos have increased in price to $10.99. They are so large and tasty, that they are worth the price increase. Watched one of the workers making pastry while we waited for our burritos.”

Over the years, I think maybe one bin had a slight issue...which was more than rectified by these wonderful people. Plus, Kristie is an awesome delivery person. “Just cursing around found this hidden gem. The customer service is par excellence. Don’t know if the lady behind the counter is owner or a worker. She has a beauty smile. She even gave a free candy to my kid. Lots of everyday things available. Convenient location for the neighbourhood. Great hot food to go.”
“The pay attendant station can be kinda far from the pump, depending on which one you use. But there are a lot of pumps so no waiting mostly. One issue that's more of people not knowing I think is that they are pull In one-way pumps, but most car have the gas door on the left side so have the pump are empty but the other half will have a line. The gas nozzles and hose will pull out long enough to reach the other side of your car so any car can use any of them.”

“What a Bellingham gem of a supermarket! It's the biggest small business I've ever seen. Employee-owned, open 24/7, super clean, spacious aisles, and the most extensive bulk section I've ever seen in my entire life! I haven't had a chance to sample the fresh cooked food yet (fried chicken, etc.) but will do a a subsequent visit, as Winco is now part of my monthly big shopping run.”

“While Haggens and Safeway are owned by Albertsons, there are some differences between the stores. Unfortunately, they are now on the most expensive end of Whatcom grocery options.Still, Meridian, (or "Dark Haggen," as it's known by locals) is the best Haggen. It manages to cram a whole lot of variety onto the shelves. While they don't have the best produce in town, they usually replace anything that's not okay). Functional baked goods, not high-end but decent breads, rolls and desserts. Their vegan options keep expanding and now include cakes, Impossible and Beyond meat alternatives, lots of cheeses (including vegan ricotta) -- although it seems they are carrying fewer vegan bakery options.Most of the staff are friendly and professional and go out of their way to help customers - and it never feels like it's a problem or annoying to do so. Parking is great - I've never seen a completely full lot The lot is easy to navigate.”

“I love the feel of Silver Beach grocery! It is a small, neighborhood store that does a good business. Reasonable prices for having a corner on the local Silver Beach market. Staff are friendly and welcoming! I just wish they would build a roof-top deck so we could enjoy the lake view with one of their beers!”

“The owners seriously make you feel comfortable right when you walk in. The place is spotless, organized, and bright. I love Indian cuisine but I’m also pretty clueless about the massive library of spices and options. The owner was so personable and walked me through every isle helping me pick out items and even suggested drinks that were SO GOOD. I will definitely be returning.
