“Easily in my top 3 favorite restaurants in Tacoma. Tiny intimate space, truly incredible food and wonderful service. The ever changing risotto ranges from good to absolutely incredible, and their Cheesy Grits with fried oysters is one of my favorite dishes I’ve ever had anywhere.”

“After having my locs in for a year and a half I decided to comb them out. I missed my loose curly hair. It took me close to two weeks to comb them out, and by the end of that process my scalp hurt so much. I found Ehrin, read her reviews, went to her website, and looked at her IG before making the decision to go to her. I’m so happy I made the right decision! I brought in a picture to help her understand my vision (as her website stated), and she executed perfectly! She was so gentle, and after just the shampoo and conditioning my scalp had started to feel better. By the way she does the BEST shampoo and conditioning. Most people rush but she took her time, and I loved that for me ?. She did amazing on my trim and shaping my hair to achieve the exact look I was going for. I’m going to attach a pic of me with my locs and after she did my hair. Also it’s so hard for me to find someone who is able to cut curly hair without straightening it and she did a great job! I will definitely be a returning customer.”

“We couldn’t ask for a better convenience store nearby! The staff are excellent, and they offer local items, and now have the cutest coffee shop/ bottle shop inside with seating inside and outside. They also just added fresh pastries from Macrina bakery. I love their Kombucha on tap. They also have food trucks that come and you can eat the food there and get a drink while you wait.”

“World Market is one of our favorite stores to shop at, though it is usually around the time we do Christmas stockings or Easter baskets since there are such unique selections. For other times, though, it is my kids' favorite place to go for different types of sodas, candy, and a fun place for us to get entertaining snacks. They always have the Japanese character merch that my kids love too.I feel like they used to have more tea options? We wanted basic Earl Gray, and the Shelf for teas was pretty bare.Always double-check if they have a coupon from their website and be prepared to be in line for a while because there is usually nobody around or just one person. Do not forget your shopping totes in the car! If you do, they have really great ones to buy at check out.”

“Stopped to grab a few bottles on our way out to an off grid peninsula trip. 45 minutes and 14 bottles later... so glad we came here rather than a big chain. Great selection of interesting and classic wines at a price point that makes it hard not to keep adding oooone more bottle. And a very warm and friendly reception. Good shop for wine nerds and novices alike!”

“I'm so pleased with my haircut!!! Jennifer is a great listener. She took time to comb through my hair and get a feel for it before she started to cut. She is experienced and explained how to fix my bad haircut I got a few days earlier at another salon. Plus the salon is in a former furniture factory downtown near the museums. The architects who revamped the building thoughtfully left many historic architectural industrial elements to appreciate. The vibe was homey and relaxed and charming. It's been 30 years since I've had such a nice cut! Thank you for a perfect experience!”

“Thank you because you're being a liquor store here for quite some time but it was a lot smaller when it was state ran. I don't recall this one still being there I thought it had closed but maybe it didn't. It is for sure quite bigger and it has a lot of that household grocery items in it which is convenient for people that live close by. The staff was friendly they sell Lotto there. Nice to know it's there if you're in the area.”

“Appears to be indefinitely closed at the current address. Building is up for sale and unable to contact the owner. It was a great shop for wine and wine tastings while open, very knowledgeable owner. David did several private tastings for small groups with a wide variety of well selected wines”

“This is a huge store and our first time here. There was a booth offering free samples of select wines and liquor. The host was very nice and we bought one of the wine. The host also recommended a reasonably priced wine from Washington since we were visiting & want a local wine.”

“In town for a concert and staying at a hotel near by. We went into the liquor store to get a little drink to sip on before the concert. It was nicely set up. The store has almost everything you need from snacks to air fresheners. Both me & my friend were joking around but the workers were really cool. Meshra helped us. I know I’m spelling his name wrong but he provided great customer service. Thank you Meshra for being so awesome. If I knew I was going to leave a review I would’ve taken more serious pictures and got the spelling of his name.”

“I usually only come here when it's too insane to go somewhere else, but I have to say... this experience has been different. The employees are always great. This time it felt like a celebration, a GM (I ASSUME) named Daniel was engaging and friendly! When you walk into a store and it feels like a neighborhood market, well, let's just say I'll be walking in again.”

“This is nit dangerous, or the " second gustiest" Safeway in Tacoma. it's actually a hugely busy Safeway that is pretty decent as they go. not as ups ale as the Proctor one, it's better than 56th, nice than Hilltops and Stadium's ( if that is still existing) and has security guards at night. I've lived five blocks from it for 9 years. Yes, it used to be a little run down, but it's much nicer and very safe now.”

“This is just a basic Safeway. Nothing special. I like this one better than the on e on E 38th St. Easy in and out. Have most basic needs. Nothing special just basic.”
