“The best urgent care ever! The wait time was long, but I feel it is because people abuse the system. Urgent care is flooded with non-urgent matters and therefore leads to longer wait times. I don't mind the wait. The doctors are attentive and actually listen to me. UW Health has never let me or my family down before. Keep up the great work!”

“The staff is very helpful and patient. The whole pharmacy is very organized. They are able to keep your insurance on file and do mail-order prescriptions for some things. These services have been game-changers for me and have reduced the amount of time I’ve had to spend trying to fill prescription. Additionally they are open later than most other pharmacies, which is great for people who work. 10/10 would recommend, best pharmacy in Madison.”

“I like this store as it is convenient. This is not a full Walgreens store. It doesn't have a pharmacy. Since it doesn't have a pharmacy, there is no pharmacy crowd hanging around there. I like that that the store is neat and clean and that the staff is friendly and has a sense of humor.”

The pharmacy staff were efficient enough to get the job done. My prescription was ready when they said it would be, which I appreciated given my time constraints.The range of health and beauty products seemed adequate, although I didn't have much time to browse.While the visit was nothing earth-shattering, CVS did what it needed to do without causing unnecessary hold-ups. “My son a 100% disabled Marine veteran of three combat tours in Iraq was in critical condition due to a need for a liver transplant. He has PTSD and related nightmares that lead to alcohol abuse in addition to a inherited condition. On February 8th, the ninth anniversary of his grandfathers death he received a life saving liver transplant. Dr. Foley and his team of transplant doctors, nurses, and staff did a fantastic job of giving my son a second chance at life. I cannot thank the donor family enough. Their decision must have been extremely difficult. Anna the transplant coordinator was beyond helpful. Anna was fantastic as the point person through this process. I thank all who played a role in the healing process for my son. Everyone from the cab driver, shuttle drivers, maintenance personnel, housekeeping, CNA's, LPN's, RN's, resident doctors, specialists, social workers, substance abuse personnel, lab personnel, transplant coordination team, and the fantastic doctors of the transplant department. This applies to both the UW and the Middleton VA health center. Thank you all for your kind words, understanding, kindness, and words of encouragement. We will forever be indebted to you all.”

The Pharmacists, Scott, Sasha, and Jacob were very helpful looking online, but the Crowning Jewel was really the expertise of Store Associate, Miss Colleen, found it right away, last one on a bottom shelf?!!! “I decided to switch to Guardian back when it was still Mallatts, so have been with them now for years. At the time I was afraid because their hours are shorter. I had a few hiccups in the early years but over time their service and quality has improved a lot and their pharmacists and staff really care a great deal about the job that they do and making sure that vulnerable patients get their medications that they need filled and on time. I have gotten my prescriptions at every kind of place in the city and at this place it's different - they know who I am and they work really hard to make sure that my meds stay consistent.I also often have many of the same delivery drivers and they're very friendly and helpful, polite and bring the meds up to my apartment since I have a physical disability. Since I've been getting my meds from Guardian my medications and prescription issues of the many meds I take have gone down a lot -- and for a patient with needs like mine this is a big deal since with formulary problems from insurance, copay changes, sometimes mistakes from doctors, and all of those problems that can occur it can get very difficult to manage medications. They always do their best to make sure that at least if there is a problem that they are always doing their part to work it out.”

Service was timely, and they were patient to answer all my questions and explain differences in their procedures for example compounding in olive oil vs another filler. “The man working the pharmacy today really helped me out. I needed my prescription transferred to CVS due to my insurance and he made it happen the same day (happened to be a Sunday) with no notice. I'm pretty sure he called the Walgreens a couple times to expedite.. within an hour he got the prescription transferred and quickly filled it so I could take my medication on time. Thank you!!”
