“My family and I have been coming here at least for 20 plus years. It's a hidden gem. Don't let the outside fool you - best food there is! The empanadas are amazing and the Chilean bread is super fresh and soft. Great little place for authentic Chilean place! Love the food and friendly staff! I as a little sad to see it was so empty on a Saturday night(but in California everyone stays home in the rain). Don't let this place go away! Best South American food and authentic Chilean food around!”

“Just outside LAX and in the center of the airport hotel district, Purdy's is a great convenience store with a great selection of liquor, wine, beer, snacks and daily sundries. With friendly and helpful staff, it's a nice place to shop especially if you forgot to pack something. I'm sure you'll find it at Purdy's!”

“Remarkable customer service. I was on a rush, on 10/11 I got service on this station but unfortunately I couldn't get the cashiers name. But she was extremely nice and professional , I was impressed. She did a excellent job, offering discounts, offers, bonuses. Idk her name, but I share my receipt so the owner can give her a promotion, or at least , congrat her for her absolutely wonderful job. Very pleased and making this station my favorite on the area.”

“Busy intersection overall was happy to see the Chevron sign/colors. I only use Chevron. I've never seen the gas pump illuminated on any vehicle I've owned until 6 days ago. I prayed to make it to a Chevron station, God made a way. Thankful for Z & P Oil Chevron #309226 at La Cienega and Jefferson in Los Angeles CA...Ahmed was the helpful cashier. Highly Recommend Chevron gas ⛽”
“This is my preferred gas station. And I don't just mean by brand I mean this exact location. When I can I will stop at this one. It's always just a couple cents cheaper than all the other local options and it's not so far out of my commute to be inconvenient. Very accessible from every direction, though sometimes going South on Eagle Rock can be a bit of a tricky dippy. Parts of their asphalt need some repair - on the York side especially. Inside is .. well a gas station, not the cleanest, sometimes people may ask you for change (what gas station doesn't have that) but I've gone here day or night for years and it's never been too bad, though it is popular and can get backed up at rush hour. I don't think that's a mark against it though, just means other people prefer it like I do.”
“I'm so happy to see this store and are still in tact. My family owned this liquor store and the property adjacent to it. I grew up here. I used to sweep the outside curb when I was 5 yrs old while my Dad, grandpa, aunt and uncle worked. My aunts and uncles & cousins lived in the duplexes behind the stores & my grandparents lived in the big house, & us in the little house behind. The grounds were all vegetable gardens and fruit trees. The liquor store was still called REX way back then in the 40's. Great memories of my big ITALIAN family and every Sunday w/out fail,big family dinners w/ no less than 32... My Grandma (Nana) did all the cooking & never sat down to eat until everyone was seated, adults in dinning room, kids on back porch. Sounds impossible now days. After dinner my grandpa would walk all the grandkids (15) to the liquor store to by us each candy we chose. The women would help clean up the after dinner mess and the men & my Aunt Mary, all went to the back porch to play a card game of pinnacle till it was time for ice cream compliments of the neighbor Rose who worked @Foremost ice cream factory. She'd bring my Grandma 3gal. tubs of sherbet ice cream. Lol seems impossible now days but those were the 50's. We stayed close knit even once we sold the property and moved to Downey, but that wasn't until after the riots in 1965... And I'd say the late 70's...Rex liquor store did not have even 1broken window... The neighborhood loved my grandpa (Nanu) as he loved all of them. They wer like family to each other... Obviously the new owners run the business the same way or it would have been long gone or a 7-11 or CircleK ny now! I need to stop by the area again w/my grandkids”

“Car wash is one of the better ones in west LA area. The worker did a thorough job doing the car at the end. If you get gas, car wash is $1 cheaper. I opted to pay the 11.99 in store with cash for the top choice wash. Just remember to tuck your side windows in and turn off rain-detect on your windshield wipers.”

The place itself is adorable, the food is delicious (you can get amazing made to order snacks like this Taiwanese breakfast roll made with scallion pancake) AND already prepared deliciousness from Little Fattys (Taiwanese Sunday Gravy is my favorite).The real shining star here though is the staff. Manager Eric is incredibly friendly and truly part of the reason I’ve kept coming back!
