They are happy to help you with all the pieces you need for whatever you're working on (carbonara, fondue, picnic sandwiches, party charcuterie boards, everything!)”
“Awesome store with probably the best selection of liquor around. Hundreds of tequilas, vodkas, gins, whiskeys, etc. including somewhat rare ones. This is the only store I know of in LA with multiple types of Giffard liqueurs. Wine selection a little smaller but still great. Only trick is being able to find this place in the back corner of an industrial warehouse/distributor complex.”

“This corner store is one of those old relics that's been around for decades. I love that they don't refurbish them and keep that old school look with the original sign and sometimes the same paint from back in the 50's LOL. The dark grungy interior reminds me of my youth when entering these neighborhood stores. I only went in to buy some Lottery tickets.”
“Matt B. and I used to live right up the street from Lou, and I miss being able to stroll in whenever we felt like it, to buy a bottle for a dinner or a party (or, as was often the case, a dinner party). We'd been to Lou's restaurant when that was still open and loved it, and were absolutely thrilled when he opened a wine shop in our neighborhood. It was a tremendously pleasant, convenient set-up while it lasted.”

“I've used Fancilfull Gift Baskets forever? Why....Amazing, delicious contents in these wonderful baskets sourced from around the world. The presentation is simply the best! I first discovered them in the Small Biz Section of the Times years ago! When I read Michael Jackson, the king of Pop used their service, I knew their unique offering had to be the best! This small biz was originally owned by Wally and Terry. Great proprietors!! Here recently the company was sold. However, the new owner is listening to the Team and carrying on as though the original owners were in place. My Clients simply love these baskets and their contents! Often, the containers are so interesting and made of high quality that they can be repurposed. Peter is my go to guy!You can go wrong when sending goodies from Fancilfull! Cheers, Jan”

“Awesome customer service. We were out of town for a volleyball tournament (On Father's Day) staying near by. All my husband wanted was to have a cold beer and a burger by the pool. I found Fickett Market and saw they had a selection of craft beers. So I took the husband and he went in and spoke with the cashier. The gentlemen was friendly and helpful with suggestions. The location is small but cute, will be back if we are ever nearby again!”
“Cutest place with so many options to suit everyone! The whole vibe is so gorgeous with an outdoor area to sit. We got the French toast, potatoes, black bean burrito, iced white mocha, and Maple brown sugar latte. All 10/10! Highly recommend!”

“I often enjoy walking into Rapido when I'm near it to see what wines are on sale. They offer a wide selection of cheeses, cured meats, and wine, and all of the wines that I've chosen in the past have been excellent. They also offer a limited prepared food menu; their tortilla espańola is excellent, and I'm confident I will try one of their sandwiches in the future. There's outdoor seating if you decide to eat on site, and while service can be challenging when the shop is busy, I have always found the staff members to be friendly, informative, and willing to answer questions. You can also purchase bread by either Clark Street or Jyan Isacc (with the latter being offered only during the weekend).”

The temperature control of the fridges means that when I get my delivery, it’s at exact right state for my evening.
