“I have never had a bad experience at this TJ. This trip was to restock my out-of-state parents and sister on some items that they love. There were 2 items they had requested that I was unable to find. An extremely polite and helpful Scottish gentleman did all he could to try to track down the 2 products, even though he had been busily stocking shelves when I interrupted him. I wish I had gotten his name, but hopefully my description will help anyone reading this to give him a raise or at least a pat on the back. He had a good sense of humor, too. ?”

Cashier was on their phone when I approached to check out and was mildly annoyed for disturbing them. This man was 50+. He rang me up, dropped my receipt in the bag, and went back to his phone before I could left. I hope all is well.”

“This place is okay. It's very small and limited. Strangely, they don't carry yuzu juice/extract - and the cashier had no idea what it was. (Yuzu is a very popular Japanese ingredient!) They were also out of frozen eel and salmon sashimi. It is a bit more expensive than other Asian markets in the area.”
“If you arrive even five minutes after 7 pm, they don’t give you meat. They don’t provide lamb shank or specific part of meat. Other than that, the staff are nice and the price is fair.”
“A wonderful Olive Oil shop! I visited the Chevy Chase location recently to pick up a housewarming gift. The woman working, I believe her name was Kelly, was so helpful in helping me select an olive oil and vinegar pair which was great because there is a huge variety to choose from! I was able to sample a few and you honestly cannot go wrong. They also offer a seasoning mix called "olive oils best friend" that pairs so well with most of the olive oils. I will be back!”

“The proprietor is very nice, happy to explain differences in ingredients that may not be obvious to someone not familiar with Indian cooking. Lots of desi ingredients, pretty much anything you could need to make a large variety of Indian dishes. Great prices on pulses/legumes.”
“I stopped by Walmart Saron Dr. to get a roll of clear mail packing tape. They did not have any. I also looked for generic eye drops. They only had the more expensive name brands. Must be a run on these because the other two Walmart stores in Lexington are also currently out of stock.”
