“Wow, what a selection! While I didn't get the specific item I was looking for, the staff were friendly and helpful on finding alternates. Pro Tip - Nothing means business like using a cart at the liquor store. There are plenty of carts at the Liquor Barn.”
“For a corner liquor store, big daddy's has a good number of options and solid prices. It's no liquor barn, but it's plenty convenient and they've been serving to UK community for years. They WILL ID you. It's usually pretty clean, however they haven't fixed their organization since Covid hit and they closed off one of their entrances.”

“I Always find something unique and often in a smaller size that we can try first to determine if we like it before we commit to the full size, even in the Scotch and Irish whiskeys.Very helpful staff, from the door to the checkout.If you can't find something, ask, because it may be in a different location under a different header. Because they have multiple locations for some varieties.Seasonal inventories that may not be available everywhere. Great gifts and glassware for the wine lover or cocktail mixer.And if you don't want to shop in person, they'll do it for you and you can pick it up!”
“Always love shopping Total Wine when I go to Lexington. They have a huge selection of wines from all over and the free samples are nice when they have them. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and mostly informative. There are lots of choices on spirits and a decent selection on cigars too. Prices are pretty good too, comparatively. Unfortunately, the local wine options are mainly sweet wines and I'm a dry wine girl all the way so that's disappointing, but that's not necessarily Total Wines fault. It seems that a lot of ppl prefer sweet wines so the local drys probably don't sell well.”

Cashier was on their phone when I approached to check out and was mildly annoyed for disturbing them. This man was 50+. “We stopped in on the way to dinner to get a "pre dinner drink".I got the lemon drop one shot bottle and so did my friend . It's the tail end of the shot that makes you go whoa . The man and woman at the counter were playing house music so I decided to dance which made them laugh. (Nope can't dance at all) but it was fun.I've never walked into a liquor store before and thought what fun until now . They have a decent selection of whatever you're in the mood for . “This is a great local business with friendly staff. I usually shop in store since it’s on my way home, but I have recently taken advantage of adding them to my food delivery orders with DoorDash. One time the product I ordered was out of stock, and instead of them cancelling the order or having the DoorDash driver choose a replacement, a store associate called me and actually made some recommendations! Great customer service at Redding Liquor!”

“Liquor Barn has the best selection in town. The prices are good and I never get stuck in a long line waiting for checkout. They have an app you can use and they deliver. If you spend enough the delivery is free. I like to order wine by the case and get the case discount. There is plenty of free parking next to the store.”

“This Kroger Wine and Spirits is probably one of the best in town for getting allocated items, has a decent selection of alcohol and generally has the best prices compared to most liquor stores even other Kroger W&S stores. The store is clean, updated and no issues. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I would prefer that it were attached or closer to the actual Kroger store for convenience but know the history. I frequent this store and would recommend it.”

Owner treats you like family if you frequent but will always treat you with respect regardless. His wife also makes hand made jewelry, purses, and clothes and they do henna!”

“It’s worth noting that the prices here are 20-50% higher than your regular liquor store. And much of the bourbon can be bought in any liquor store. That said, I’ve bought some great bottles here of bourbons that were exclusive to Cork & Barrel. I’d recommend focusing on those that are not found elsewhere at a much lower price.”

“Owners are very friendly and helpful if you are looking for something. They have a decent selection and carry allocated bourbon at times. Prices are usually close to or the best in town. The store is a little dated and small but they are building a new one adjacent to the existing soon with a tasting bar.”
