“I haven't drunk in 8 years. A friend came in from out of town. He had a request. Not wanting to spend any time in a liquor store than needed. I asked for help. 5 minutes I was in and out.”

“Very nice quiet store located a few blocks away from the medical center. The store is large with a good selection. I'm pretty sure this is a newer store but the staff is nice and helpful. I got lucky and scored the last bottle of McKenna, yay me! So it was a decent day for liquor sales...”

“I spoke to the manager mrs Contessa I'm 62 years old and been buying alcohol from Virginia as long as I can remember, I ran across one other manager that was polite and professional but when i spoke to mrs contessa she was super super polite and professional she told me that she would go and pick my order up for me. That didn't have any in store and go out her way Because it says on online that is non on the peninsula and she checks stores and found out that they has some on this side I commend her and the state sure pay her for her travels.and gas”

“The staff here are not pushy and somewhat chill, the store is small but has enough for most to find something they like. Being that its located in a shopping center it gives this location a tad but safer rating in my mind.”

“First time doing pick up at this location I usually go inside. I called like it says to when you pull up in front of the store. The young lady I spoke to just hangs up on me. I had to call back which is when someone else answers They were able to help and brung me my order and apologized. I usually get great customer service there.”

“I shop at this Harris Teeter at least once a week, and it's overall fine. Store is clean and well stocked, safe for the area, and the fuel points are an excellent bonus. My biggest complaint is that this store relies way too much on self-checkout. It's a 50-50 chance whether or not they'll have a cashier manning a register no matter what time of the day it is. You're "more likely" to see them in the evening but that's not even a safe bet. You'd think that with the $600-800 alone that I spend a month in the store that they'd be able to staff at least one full time cashier, but it is what it is. Self-checkout is super helpful when you're buying milk, but when you see 5 customers buying full carts of groceries while several employees stand around then that's bad for optics.Ultimately, I prefer this store heavily over others in Hampton, but they need to get it together and quick before I explore other options.”

“Free capt Morgan...no, he's not locked in a cell, he's in a bottle. Had a taste just after new years. Provided by the local distributor. Store clerk helpful in selecting a pint of bourbon...for my oyster stew recipe.”
