Communication is paramount when it comes to choosing an insurance agent. Most of us rarely have a claim however, we all want to be insured for that rare circumstance when we may need to have coverage.
When applying for insurance, it's important to ask questions pertaining to one's particular circumstances. None of us want to be told that upon filing a claim that we are not covered for that particular loss.
The very first time I contacted Robert Johnson, I was impressed. Robert is thorough. We discussed a property that I owned in Florida. As we were speaking, he logged into Google Earth so that he could get a look at said property. I had several questions regarding the Alfa Insurance Company & it's products. He had answers to the majority of those questions. He called the corporate office to inquire about the balance of my questions & provided those answers to me as well. He did this all in a kind & very efficient manner. I currently have my home insured through Alfa because of my faith in agent, Robert Johnson.
When Robert Johnson states that he will call you back, find answers to your questions or email information to you, he carries through on that promise & does so in an expedient manner.
More than a year after insuring with Alfa, I filed my first, and hopefully last claim. Fortunately it was a very small claim. Insurance Adjustor, Jay Curry arrived at my home to assess the damage. Jay worked well with my General Contractor while the damage was repaired. I am 100% completely satisfied with Jay Curry & the claim service he provided.

I’ve stopped by Flowers Insurance a few times and always got a professional, welcoming vibe—especially from the front desk staff, who are consistently kind and helpful. While I haven’t used their services personally, the office gives the impression of being well-established and respected in the community.
That said, it’s hard not to ignore the changes the agency went through in 2023, first joining the WRM Group and then becoming part of Higginbotham. I am curious if those changes have had any impact on how clients are served? Has the internal culture shifted?
From the outside, everything appears steady—but I’d be genuinely curious to hear how existing customers and long-time clients feel about the transition. Are the same values and service standards still driving the way the agency operates?
It still seems like a reputable place to do business, especially if you're looking for a local agency with deep roots. But with those changes now a year or so behind them, it’s fair to ask: what’s different now?”
