Easter Sunday was great!! Uplifting and Choirs/Orchestra/Band fantastic. Preaching always good. Small Group helps support each other with teaching and praying for one another.

Hunter Street Baptist Church, in Hoover, AL, is a body of believers devoted to loving God and loving people. We use the Bible as the foundation for all we do. We believe the Bible contains God's revelation of Himself to us, seen most clearly in Jesus Christ. Our purpose: to lead people to Jesus Christ and church membership, develop them to Christ-like maturity, equip them for ministry, and send them on mission in order to glorify God.
Hunter Street was founded as the Compton Hill Baptist on Jan. 6, 1907. After a building was completed on Hunter St and Hayes Ave, the congregation became known as Hunter Street Baptist. In 1987, 220 members took a step of faith. The church voted to move to 11 acres in Hoover and opened on Easter Sunday1989.
