“I called these folks about repairing/rebuilding my R680 transmission. I had already done some price checking to know just how much a rebuild might be. From the first phone call to the follow up call I made a couple of weeks after the service everyone there is courteous, genuinely friendly and wants to answer any question you have. Oliver and Glenn are both the most professional technicians and businessmen I have ever dealt with. The lady in the front office, Ashley I think, was super helpful and went over the top to help me the day I picked up my truck. My truck runs better than whrn it was new, no joke! I don't like spending that kind of money too often, but if I ever need transmission work in the future they will get my business again and again. “Excellent service exactly as quoted. I usually work on my own cars and am very picky about trusting anyone else, but these guys are first class. I could even tell they did a few little extras which surprised me like filling the windshield washer reservoir. It’s a small thing, but it shows the kind of attention to details that is lacking at most shops these days.”

“I had Rick fix the water pump on my Ford Edge . The price was great and bc my water pump was in the motor most shops wouldn't do the work and if they would they wanted outrageous price but not at Rick's garage. And they fixed it I want to say 3 days which was pretty fast since he had to tear down the motor to get to it. I really appreciate the fast and reasonably priced work they did on my vehicle”
“These guys are fantastic I showed up on a Friday with only 20 minutes to spare before they closed and they jumped on my AC and fixed it this morning on another truck I took it up there to them and they were telling me how they're going to work with me as best as possible since I'm a repeat customer and they gave me a bit of a discount I would recommend everybody go to this place to get your AC in car issues with these guys are great”

“I really did have a 5 star experience. Johnny, helped me from recommending me a place to get my transmission, to great hospitality when arriving, to finally giving me service and super quick service! Literally had it fixed in a day. I recommend this place. They are fair with pricing (I saved over $1300 by getting a transmission swap) and great with speed. One down side was that the credit card machine was not working.I refuse to hold that against them, but it was very inconvenient. All in all if you need transmission work, call them!”
“Called a dozen places to see if they could help with my car and everyone was too afraid to work with the issue I was having or couldn’t help me. I called this place and he helped me same day. Had multiple mechanics look at my car who overlooked my issue. He didn’t even have to look under the hood to know the exact problem that I was having and he had found the place it was at within less than a minute of looking under my hood. Ended up being a welding job I needed done so ended up being a muffler shop job, but he sent me to a good shop that got my car back on the road fast and quick and had a very reasonable price for the work they did. This guy could’ve charged me a fee to diagnose my car or tell me I had to wait until Monday because I called at nearly 2pm on a Friday, but because he helped me immediately I was able to get my car fixed the same day so I’m not stuck walking all weekend and he didn’t even charge me anything. It seemed like he really knows his stuff and is a good honest guy to work with. When my car inevitably breaks down again, I’ll definitely call here first.”

“My initial experience with Mr. Transmission in Mobile happened out of desperation. Most “transmission repair shop” searches begin this way, but my desperation did not come from simply needing a transmission rebuilt. I needed a shop that could (and would) do a transmission rebuild and actually stand behind the rebuild after everything was said and done. THAT, specifically, is what mattered more than the initial cost of the rebuild alone. There may be other shops that can technically “get the job done”, but very few will stand behind their work after the car leaves the shop. Even fewer shops will stand behind their work WITHOUT trying to find a loophole to squeeze through and get a bit more money out of their “less than perfect” rebuild job. Since that initial experience, I’ve returned with several other vehicles/issues, and I’ve yet to be disappointed with the quality of work and service offered. If you’re looking for a shop that can deliver top-notch service without having to worry what the next 100 miles on the vehicle will look like, look no further. If they delivered that for me, they can most certainly make it happen for anyone else. For these reason, I’ll never take any of my vehicles to a different shop. They made a lifetime customer out of me.”

The following day they called me with updates and had very reasonable pricing and completed the work in a timely manner. Their staff was kind and helpful. They even completed a full inspection on the vehicle to give me potential fail points to look out for in the future after I returned home.

“I wish I could give these guys 10 stars! My daughter just moved to Mobile to attend South. Last night her car died, wouldn't crank, almost weren't able to jump start it. She was told by triple A that it was the alternator as the battery was only 2 years old. Fast forward to this morning, and through the thorough assessment they determined it was in fact the battery that was still under warranty from Advance Auto. These guys took out the bad battery, exchanged it at Advance, and then installed the new one. They could have just gone on the assessment of someone else, changed the alternator, and then found the problem to be with the battery and i would have been out a large sum. Instead they were honest and did their own investigating to find the problem. We will be using them for the next 4 years for anything related to her car. Thank you is not enough!!”
