“My quest for a homegrown tomato took me to this business. My first trip there they were closed even though a check on the internet said they should have been open. Note to self...call before we leave. A few hours later, I called and they had opened. I mentioned to the owner that the internet said they were open earlier and she said they just corrected their business hours. The proprietor was very nice and helpful. I saw the entrance lined with shelves loaded with jars of Shannon Drake Farms jams, jellies, Amish canned tomatoes and chow chow along with Shannon Drake Farms varieties of salsas. There is a rack full vegetable seeds for those inclined to test their green thumb. There is a small room with vegetables in it like tomatoes, squash, onions, bell peppers, potatoes, zucchini and maybe another two I cannot remember. I looked for the pictures that I took and cannot find them in my phone. If/when I find them I will post them. The business advertises they sell beef and pork. We didn't explore the meats this trip. I bought two red tomatoes, two green, baby squash, cherry butter for dad and hubs picked up two of their salsas. The baby squash were tender and delicious. One tomato was sweet like candy and the other tasted like it was bought at the grocery store. The fried green tomatoes I made were delicious. Hubs tried the medium bacon salsa and said it was good. I will return to see about the homegrown tomatoes I am in search of. Please visit and support our local businesses.”

“Aldi has some great deals on certain items like their by read, cheese and chocolate. Not only are they good deals, but the quality is definitely there.Other items are okay priced, but nothing spectacular. Customer service is not always a high priority and it would be nice if they even had a land line that you can call to see if they ha e a particular item.Yhr place has a decent ambiance and again, they do possess some good deals.”

“Good products reasonable prices, some products unavailable. Inventory changes weekly. Prices up significantly. Go early when the sale week starts. Quite cold inside on my last visit.”

“First delivery here. It us really tight for otr trucks. The neighborhood looks dicey late at night but everything was super quiet and we had no problems sleeping in the truck on their yard while waiting for them to open. Receiving doors at the right end of building if you are facing it from the road. Really nice people running receiving, did a great job sorting their stuff and unloading.”
