If your looking to adopt a dog this is the place to go. The staff are so friendly and will let you look and pet the dogs. The dogs are all needing homes and I hope they all find one. From Pell City Animal Control Center
The Pell City Animal Control Center is a temporary home to stray or lost animals during the Alabama State mandated 7 day holding period. Once the holding time is over, any unclaimed animal will be evaluated for possible adoption. We encourage everyone to contact us if they are interested in adopting an unclaimed stray or lost pet, prior to the end of their 7 day hold. Animals with special needs or medical conditions will be considered for adoption, with additional counseling provided to the prospective adopter.
Animals are accepted for surrender by appointment only! Please call 205-814-1567 during business hours to schedule an appointment to surrender an animal.
