“Took my vintage campervan to these folks when it was having intermittent starting issues, not easy to track down. Did a full electrical look over and changed a couple of the more inexpensive parts to start before diving in deeper. So far so good, these folks are pros and it’s good to know where the experienced shops are hiding when you’re driving vintage. Thank you:)”

All those stresses were alleviated when I had the opportunity to see the work this team does. Kind of a special truck, wanted a seamless repair; and that's what I got. Thanks guys. “Darcy had everything in stock I needed to put my truck together. He is friendly and helpful. I don't always know exactly what I need and hes guided me to the right stuff every time. Some things are priced quite a bit higher than others, but he is very reasonable on most parts. I highly recommend him and his store.”

“The only shop that eagerly shared their knowledge. Please take your business to them. I called 30-40 transmission and diff shops before getting the touch with The Gear Centre. Each shop, I told them I had a truck with a bad pinion and I needed a new crown and pinion. I asked if they could sell it to me. Every shop I called said sure. They would ask what gear ratio I wanted, I'd say I'm looking for fuel economy, I see factory installed as low as 2.76. They would ask what I had. It didn't matter what I said I had, 3.23, 3.08, 3.73, every shop told me to install the same ratio I was replacing. The Gear Centre asked me the same questions but it felt like they heard me. They still suggested keeping the same ratio I was replacing, but we're willing to discuss and speculate if other ratios might achieve my increased fuel economy goals. Moreover, without me asking, they shared tips and tricks to install components and extended far more courtesy then I have seen in the automotive sector. They had a willingness to work with me, a hobbyist to auto repair, and seem to welcome my business and my curiosity equally. Most inspiring, I have made product inquiries and purchases from three folks on their team now, each one exceeded expectations. Thanks for consistently impressing.”

“Its been over a month since I picked up my Audi Q5 that I purchased with the help of Keven! I honestly decided 2 weeks before pulling the trigger on purchasing a new vehicle and I spoke to atleast 9 sales person from calgary, and edmonton all together and they're all quite amateurs quite frankly, they gave up too quickly. Its as if, they can't take or handle price objection too well. But Kev is built different. He was patient and worked with me throughout the process from sending pictures of the vehicle since I lived almost 1.5 hour away, answered all my question, showed the car fax and mechanical fitness. And in no time, 2 days of working with him, I wired him deposit without seeing the car in person. That wasn't the end of it, I told him the car needed new rotors and before picking it up, all four rotors were replaced and riding smoothly, better than the first test drive. From there, signed the paper work & concluded the transaction. Now, the wife wants the Cadillac Escallade in your parking lot, and we'll definitely come and see you regardless if you're allowed to sell them or not😂. Thanks Keven, happy selling my friend. Cheers.”

“Came into town to buy a used car, and Al was able to fit us in for an inspection on short notice. He was super helpful and informative, even going so far as to express his thoughts on the value of the car & look into potential recalls that could affect us on our drive back to Edmonton. Was a great experience, so I highly recommend Hurley Automotive!”

“Lee, floor manager was excellent. He straightened out an issue professionally and quickly. My opinion is that an employee like him is very valuable. Sorry to say that another employee was the complete opposite and caused a very unnecessary problem that Lee had to correct. I was very perplexed why this problem employee treated us badly and this was just a waste of time and energy. Fire him and keep Lee.”

“I have 2014 Veloster (70,000 km) - took my car to Boyd for repair - damage to drivers side door from vehicle parked next to me - no appt. Needed at the time I had asked for repair and my car was washed. - I’m impressed As I had several scratches on the vehicle I booked an appt. set in one wks time - good thing because I received yet another door ding just 2days after initial repair. Following my appt. my car looked brand new - is cleaned inside and was again washed. - impeccable service. I will absolutely recommend Boyd . Thank you Chris ( manager) Marvin ( repair n cleaning to vehicle and to Jeanette ( receptionist )”

“Excellent customer service. I went in there not specifically knowing what parts I needed. Nicole stepped out looked at my car and took the time to itemize what and what is needed. She even advised against buying some parts that I had wanted saying it would not be worth spending money. It turned that she could only get one of the parts I wanted. She pointed me towards where I could get the remaining. It was a good experience in all.”
