The Kootenay exchange is a must go to in Nelson. They always have beautiful vintage relics among their vast collection. The owners are very friendly and knowledgeable, I'd highly recommend a visit!

My husband and I love to visit and buy antiques in small beautiful towns, this store has it all, great prices, is well assorted and preserved antiques, is always magical to see the town you visit in their antiques stores because have photos and merchandise across time?

We are primarily an antique and second hand store. We aim to please our customers by keeping our prices reasonable and our stock constantly evolving. We don`t specialize in anything, but know a little bit about everything. We like Mid Century Modern, Quality antique furnishings, Rustic iron and wood, Old tools. As well you can expect to find most everything else that an interesting antique store should carry.
We have an extensive collection of antique images, which are mainly sold in antique or refurbished frames. Popular subjects are early town views, including Sandon, Nelson, Kaslo, Trail, Mining scenes, Steam Trains and Ships.
