“I came to Blauer looking for a pair of good fitting snowboard boots and Shawn was extremely helpful and knowledgable. I had to try on so many different boots before finding the right pair but Shawn remained attentive and patient. I was surprised that the DC boots I decided on purchasing was not the most costly boots too; it was a really good deal! Shawn really focuses on finding gear that is the right fit for you rather than trying to oversell the most expensive stuff. I was also slightly concerned about snowboard shops being low in inventory during the end of the season sales, but Blauer had a huge selection of boots, boards, and binding and in different sizes/colors in stock too at this time of year. Would absolutely recommend this place and will definitely be coming back next season to buy gear for my brother! :)”

“Adam is amazing!!! He helped me find all the equipment i needed. Very courteous and patient. He had to go to the sister store to get the size i needed instead of sending me there to get it. He's a gem, and I was really impressed with his work ethic. Kudos to Adam!!!??”

“loved the employee who was there! she was a slim blonde lady and her voice gave me asmr ? I went in with the intention to buy something for my family such as a souvenir but I saw a pretty cute coat that would look hella fire on me so I didn't get them anything from here but at least I'll look delicious with that jacket now! ?”

“Cute little store that has a lot of clothing & other items with bears on them. Very rustic bear themed items which I think we can all agree we love seeing that especially in the mountains. Prices were reasonable to high because of the specialty items you won't find anywhere nearby especially in California but it was very doable. The older lady that helped us was very sweet and helpful. Definitely worth a looksy if you're visiting up there.”

“Small in size, BIG in selection and style, and very nice owner with great taste and customer service. Mrs. Yelper found several nice clothes. I thought she already had clothes, but I guess she loses some of them in the laundry?”

“This review is specific to Luca (snowboard instructor). Took the teens for their first day snowboarding and wanted to set them up for success. Signed them up for a group lesson (only about 5 in the group including my two). Both were excited to learn and nervous at the same time. Neither had been on skis or boarded before, so starting from scratch. Luca was their instructor. He took time to teach them the basics, ensured everyone had a good time and really set them up for having a great first day of boarding. They are both wanting to go back and build on what they learned. Many thanks to Luca for a memorable day on the snow!”

“Priced like everyone else up here (not a bad thing)...what separates them is the selection and the staff. Really friendly and they carry a lot of things to choose from.”

“Looks like they’ve rearranged the store for more spacing but looks like they are carting even more variety than before. Staff very friendly and helpful. Been going in for over 22 years and still the best quality stuff and prices in town.”

“Review Edited after good Customer Service communication and response to resolve my issue After Attempting to renew passes this year(spring of 24 for 24/25) for my family and not having clear understanding of the pass renewal deadlines, I had some relatively quick back and forth with customer service who ultimately ended up resolving the issue. For the final resolution I have changed my review and appreciate the customer service making things right. For the customer service taking time to contact me and resolve the issue I think that shows the company cares about its service and customers. For people interested in season passes I think between Ikon's website with differing dates to Bear Mountain's /Snow Summit's website, the lack of a simple renewal mailer and static renewal dates(ex: always March 1st to April 1st, etc) it is more confusing to renew that it needs to be. For reference to anyone looking to book season passes the most simplistic way to renew passes (but no renewal discount for BBMR, while there is for Ikon) is to know that sometime in early March/before April of the previous season you must renew to receive the best price. For ski conditions the 23/24 season would get fairly busy on weekends making skiing past 2pm-3 hard. Early morning would be much less busy, but on weekends to save time I'd recommend just paying for the parking pass with little kids. If you don't have kids, there's enough shuttle parking that you could avoid the paid parking. Customer Service within the park is friendly and they make attempts to help families with kids and keep it enjoyable.”
