From Travis Hall Fine Art Gallery
THFA gallery opened in 2017 and showcases the work of Travis Hall, Stephanie Paige, Klaus Kloeppel, Cheryl Smith, and Ann Elliot Artz.
Travis is fascinated by tonalism, (when complimentary colors are layered to create subtle color modulations). Travis has perfected a technique that creates a luminous inner glow, that appears in his landscapes and abstract paintings.
In 2002 Southwest Art Magazine hailed Travis as one of the 21 top artists under 31 in the U.S.
After studying "Alla Prima" portrait & still life techniques with master painter, David A. Leffel, Travis added those genres to his repertoire. Other artists who inspire Travis include Susan Sales, George Inness, Mark Rothko, and Rembrandt.
