A visit to the Planes of Fame Air Museum is a step back to the glory days of aviation.
Founded in 1957, the Museum's collection spans the history of flight - from a replica of the 1903 Wright Flyer through WWI, the Golden Age, WWII, and into the jet age. With over 140 aircraft in the collection, there is something for everyone.
Planes of Fame is a "flying Museum" and nearly 40 of our aircraft fly regularly. These include the only flying P-26 Peashooter, the only authentic Japanese Zero still flying, plus flying aircraft from the US Army Air Force, the US Navy, US Marines and US Air Force.
Monthly "Hangar Talk" presentations and a "Flying Demo" featuring an historic flyover, exhibits, and more make Planes of Fame a must visit for all.
