“I gave this place a tour because I'm heavily considering placing my child in the toodler program. It was a 30 min tour, at first I came in here and the teacher were being very direct in an aggressive tone asking "CAN I HELP YOU?" Which I can understand since all parents who have children attending here gets a code to enter and they're being extra careful protective with strangers. The funny thing is that the teachers give the children the tiger mom treatment, yes your child will be yelled at. But as soon as the tour started, I heard their tone change. Teacher: "Come here love." To one of the kids. It's a good thing though, it'll teach your child that the world is not always going to be nice to you.I was greeted by Maryham, you fill out a contact form before you start the tour. I stopped by around 6pm and there were plenty of kids still here waiting for their parents to pick them up. I saw about 3 teachers outside watching the kids, the children that attend here have a good diversity. It's also 1 teacher per 4 kids and they're constantly checking up on each other because they have go follow a strict guideline and they're also watched by CPS. You will constantly be able to see updates via app on your child throughout the day.As for the toodler program, every toodler that can walk are in the same room. Tution is $385 a week. Info on the Toodler Program: Every week, their curriculum change. They also get to express themselves through artwork, you get to see their artwork on the wall. Food is provided, milk is organic whole milk unless there's a milk shortage then they will give them non-organic milk. You bring your own cup. Preferably weaned off the bottle. Circle time is at 8:30am. They get their 2 hour naptime. If a child is sleepy, the teacher will pull out their cot and let them to sleep, every toodler has a spot to sleep at. The cot is a plastic rubber bed with a white sheet that's held on by elastic bands. You bring your own blanket. They also get to sit on toodler sit on toodler size chairs. Potty training is available. When you first start daycare, depending on your child. They will be introduced to many kinds of germs, where they will get sick alot in the beginning. They will send your child home if they have a fever at 101F. You have 24 hours cooldown window to see if you can get that fever down before going back. At 6pm: I saw one toodler who was being carried by the teacher. The teacher placed him sitting down on a lounging pillow. He looked about 12 months, knawling on a teething toy that was a sandwich, definitely did not look very clean though. Some good ol' germs on there. About 4 toodlers just walking around, none of them interacted with each other, they all did their own thing. I saw a girl who walked out to the waiting room, trying to see if her parents are here to pick her up yet, poor thing. I saw the janitor cleaning the floors as well, which is a good sign. The only thing is the play structure is extremely dirty, like faded plastic over the years with alot of dust on it. Some parents who came to pick up their child, seem very happy about this place.One of things I care about is the reviews and Yelp is certainly the place for it. I obviously gave this place the benefit of the doubt, I asked about these negative reviews. These are the answers: the one about the car wash lady. They told me that the child they picked up was autistic where the child kept on banging their head onto the ground. They had to pick up the child to prevent that for their own safety.And for the other negative review, they told me that the family owned alot of tuition and was sent to collection which was why they gave them 1 star. Overall, I'm still touring many places, but I highly do recommend checking this place out if you need a daycare. This place cost a bit more than others because they teach your child vs just watching them. Please do check this place out before deciding. Every child's needs are different.”

“There is not enough space for me to write all the wonderful things I want to say. Both of my kids attended Creative. The entire staff is absolutely stellar. The director/teacher Ms. Denise is truly amazing and became someone my daughter admired and just loves so much. Even Ms. Sharon, Ms. Susan, Mr. Viet, Ms. Annie, Ms. Jackie, Ms. Vanessa and their chef Ms. Rosie are all absolutely wonderful. My daughter learned so much from every single one of them and every day she was always having fun while learning. They are always in constant communication with you and providing photos and daily updates so you feel confident your child is in a safe and happy environment. They teach your kids a wide variety of subjects from science, math, sight words, writing, singing/dancing, art, crafts, games and even cooking ...all in such a manner the kids enjoy doing it and there is no stress but instead they actually want to participate!! It's so amazing. The school always hosts family fun events for you to come see your child's progress in school. Summer time is so fun too as they have pony rides and magic shows and splash days etc! Also, the food they cook is so good my daughter always tells me she prefers Ms Rosie's food. LOL! My daughter was always so excited to wake up and go to school, and would come home talking about her day. We are so sad my youngest has just graduated from Creative, but are happy with how much progress she has made and know that she will do well in life because of them! We can't thank the staff enough for all they have taught our children and for all of the wonderful memories that we will cherish forever. Our family really misses the school already. Creative has really set the bar so high that I honestly don't think I will ever be pleased with any other school/staff!!”

“Two of my kids came to this preschool prior to pandemic and after everything opened up again. This school has been very cautious with masking and keeping everything sanitized which is so important when it comes to small children. My kids love all the teachers here because they are very attentive and you can tell that they really enjoy what they do. The playground area is shaded and is big and spacious. The added bonus is that they also help with potty training.”

You know your kids are in a caring and healthy environment when they can't stop talking about their day, the stuff they learned, and their amazing teachers. Love the events and the bilingual focus here. Also, it’s nice to know that if I have a baby, that baby can attend the same school which will minimize drop off/pick off time and stress.”

“Our family loves Oasis because of the small class sizes and nurturing environment! I wanted my kids to learn Mandarin but when I researched local schools with language programs, the class sizes were too large for my liking. I want my kids to learn Mandarin but not at the expense of being in a school where they might not get enough care and attention from their teachers, where they are lost in the crowd or slip through the cracks. The class sizes at Oasis are mostly around 10 students (or less), which is less than most private schools and about half the size of public school classes for the lower elementary grades and less than half of the size of public school classes for middle to higher elementary grades. This makes a huge difference in how kids learn, how kids feel about school, how well their teachers know them and how they develop socially and emotionally in these critical years.I have two very different kids at Oasis (one in TK and one in 2nd grade). One is more academic and serious and one is more playful but both are thriving at Oasis and best of all, both love school and learning! Both have such strong connections with their teachers. When we receive the kids' assessments from their teachers and meet with teachers at the end of the trimester, I am astonished by how well they know my kids. They know how well my kids play or work in a group, how they deal with conflicts or setbacks, what frustrates them and so much more! Many of the things they notice (good or bad) are the same that I notice at home. If there's an area of concern, they always bring it up with me, collaborate with me and with my kids on improving the situation. Learning at Oasis is also very individualized and tailored to each child. Within each grade, there are different level classes for Mandarin and Spanish and some movement across grades also occur as needed. For example, when my older son first started at Oasis, he was in the kindergarten class and within a few months the school communicated with me that he's actually better suited to be in first grade. After discussing with me and getting my approval, the school and teachers made this change gradually over many weeks and communicated with me every step of the way. By the end of the process he was fully integrated into first grade and was happier because of it. It was just amazing how much they cared about his academic growth and his social emotional needs. During the first few months of this school year, they noticed that he could move up a level in Mandarin and Spanish and this time the switch was also seamless. Teachers at Oasis are constantly evaluating what's best for the kids and make changes when needed. My kids spend more time during the week at school than with me and I'm so thankful that they are at Oasis, where they are seen, heard and loved. My kids look forward to school and love learning. When I pick them up from school, oftentimes they don't want to leave and want to stay at school for the after school program. I've heard the same from other parents as well so it's clear how much the kids love their school!”

“This is a great school! Out son has been going there since for about 3 months now. The classes are small and the immersion is great. The principal is a french native and the teachers speak french from various regions of the world that speak french! I am so glad to have been able to find a french immersion school close enough to bring my little one.The staff is caring and the little community is great! Other useful info: students need to bring their own lunches, no microwaving or such. There is one hot lunch provided by the school once a week. Kids bring their own sleepsack for nap time. School hours from 8am-4pm with a 15 min window. There are some random staff development days when students end up not having school.”

“Altadena Nursery School is a hidden gem, we loved everything from the school, the kids learn so much, but so us as parents. The community is very supportive, the teachers and staff are just spectacular!, we are truly thankful for this school. All our kids graduated from ANS and we are forever thankful to have had such a beautiful solid base for our kids, this school truly loves and respects kids, and it made us be better parents. “We feel so fortunate to have found Pani! We were new to the area and looking for the right place for our daughter. Being working parents, our daughter's safety and well-being is our top priority. Since day 1, my daughter has LOVED going to Pani's place and LOVES Pani. She has so much fun throughout the day with her friends and in a loving, caring environment. Pani is extremely organized, warm and friendly and we know she loves what she does. Her home is beautiful, clean and kids spend a good amount outdoors, eating healthy meals and snacks, as well as learning. My daughter knows her abcs and numbers because of Pani and has blossomed under her care. She sends us pictures throughout the day, so we always know what our daughter is up to and they bring us joy every time we get them. We're grateful and recommend Pani full heartedly!”

“This facility is still 5 stars for me. Both of my kids attend and it has been nearly 6 years. The Director, Ms Becky has maintained such a warm and loving atmosphere. The times when there have been issues at school I have always felt listened to, like the staff truly cares and wants to partner with me to help solve things and make sure my child is supported. There have been too many wonderful teachers to name all of them but a few are: Ms Stephanie, Ms Elizabeth, Ms Bri, Ms Lisa, Ms Kayla, and Ms Izzy. We love Childtime!”

“My daughter attended Towne and Country for about 4 months before she transitioned to a more traditional preschool. Towne and Country came highly recommended. What I liked most was the great supervision, locked/secure facility and small class sizes. She was 2 and turned 3 while she was enrolled. Her teachers were kind, professional and patient. My daughter enjoyed attending and I am happy we made the decision to enroll.”

“Picking a center for your child is terrifying, but choosing Covina KinderCare for our daughter has been one of the best decisions my husband and I have made. I was expecting more of a daycare, but instead I am so pleased with my daughter's progress academically. She started in Discovery Pre-School with Ms. Monica and Ms. Sandy and is now in Pre-School with Ms. Rani, Ms. Sessaly and Ms. Vanessa. Since she has started KinderCare, she knows all her colors, shapes, alphabets names and sounds, how to write her name(at age 3!!), her seasons, months, days and I could honestly go on! She talks so much and some of her vocabulary is astonishing! I am shocked some of the words she knows. Besides academics, this KinderCare is a family. I feel welcomed each time I walk in and have amazing conversations with all of the staff members. I know my daughter is well taken care of when I drop her off. This is one of the main reasons why we choose this KinderCare. Right away from the tour we could tell how much love is in the center, and that is what is most important to us. The communication is also open with the teachers and center directors and I can ask them anything when I picked her up. That is important because I feel like we are a team working together to do what is best for my daughter. We also receive updates and pictures throughout the day of my daughter's activities. I am sad my eldest daughter's time at KinderCare is coming to an end since she will be starting public school next August. But I am very eager for my youngest to start at KinderCare very soon!I couldn't be more grateful to this center and all of the staff members who have created this beautiful family that we belong to.”

“We love Pine Tree! All of the teachers are amazing and so is the admin. We had our son at another school and found it wasn't as "Montessori" as it claimed. We love this school because because they really follow Montessori ways and even incorporate a garden for learning. They send us daily pictures and updates. My son literally asks for his teachers and school all the time. It's the best feeling to know he is having fun and learning. Lately he says things and I'm just in awe of how he knows certain things. This is truly a top school and place for our children to grow, have fun and learn. We truly love it!”

“Both of my daughters absolutely love going to Village Preschool Academy. They are always so excited when we tell them they're going to school the next day. The teachers here are truly wonderful, and it is easy to see how much they care about your children. We have witnessed our children grow so much academically and socially, and truly appreciate all the extra activities and amenities afforded to the children like soccer and dance classes, the wonderful playground, the cozy outdoor music area, the adorable holiday program, and the fun end-of-year ceremony. The classrooms and grounds are always greatly maintained, and the school is open until 6pm, which is great for working parents.”

“If you are looking for a great preschool for your child look no further. This place is the best! Ms Mil is always nice, sweet and great communicator. She is always there to help and assist with every child's needs. I moved my child from a previous school to Academicise because there was no learning curve there, no structure and he was miserable crying at drop off after months. Now he is happy and excited to go to school every morning and play with his friends. what a change ! He loves his teachers Ms Jennie, Ms Aylin, Ms Norma and the whole team. He is always bringing cute art and craft with a smile on his face :) It's clear to me that the director and the teachers care about the students and love their work! The staff warmly greet you at check-in and see you off at check-out. The school is safe and way cleaner that other schools we have toured with plenty of parking in front. They provide a variety of nutritious meals (less stress of what to make for lunch), assist with potty training and have lots of fun activities. My son in a span of few weeks has grown academically, socially and emotionally. He has learned so much already, talks more and looks forward to going there every morning. He is for sure going to stay here there til he graduates! We are very happy with this school and I recommend it to any parents looking for quality preschool with an educational setting. We love the atmosphere and positive energy and we feel that our kid is in good hands. “If it wasn't for us moving my son would be here no doubt. The office were friendly and was sad to see us go from such a great school.. Love his TK teacher Ms. Aguayo, she was an excellent teacher from the beginning till the time we were there. I honestly didn't have no complain with her what so ever. They way she cared, shared, and understand each and everyone of her students was beyond my expectations. Not only to the students by with the parents as well, I would see how she will talk to the parents and express her concerns or how proud she was with the students.. if they told me Ms. Aguayo will be my sons teacher for every school year I will beyond thrilled.. thank you Ms. Aguayo for taking good care of my son and for being an awesome teacher.”

“Prior to selecting a pre-school, I toured many in the area. La Habra Heritage was what I felt was best, in terms of location, staff and cost. My daughter had attended from 6 mos to 5 years, and I could not be happier with our experience there. Highly recommend this facility and it's amazing staff. We've graduated to kindergarten so sadly have outgrown La Habra Heritage, but we'll be forever grateful to everyone here we've met along the way!”

Both of my kids are in Ms. Villaruel and Mr. Smith's class and they absolutely love going to school. Ms. Villaruel and Mr. Smith both do a great job at creating a nurturing and supportive environment such that my kids adore school - in fact they are so sad the year is coming to an end! “I was a Kindercare kid -- my mom worked for them most of my childhood so I quite literally grew up there. So when it was time for me to go back to work & the kids to go to daycare, I knew I wanted them there. We looked at all of the local centers, & chose this one over KC's that are closer to us because of the staff and the attention to detail that they obviously put into creating and maintaining an environment that is safe & welcoming & healthy for the kids & families. My kids have grown so much, physically and emotionally, and advanced educationally more than we even expected. Jenn, Stacey, & the staff have been incredible, helping us deal with unexpected hurdles with each of our kiddos, accommodating what I'm sure were sometimes odd requests, and helping us find solutions that were right for our kids & family. Jenn and Stacey are always available when we have questions or concerns, & anytime there has been a concern, it's been addressed & resolved quickly. And if something is concerning to them, it's communicated immediately and we deal with it ASAP...no surprises at pick up. The genuine care they have for other people's kids is awesome, & we could not ask for a better group of people taking care of our babies when they can't be with us. Ms. Shanna is fantastic with the learning adventures that have had a huge impact on our kids in all the best ways. Miss Mollie is always so warm & welcoming, even though she hasn't had one of our kids in class for over 2 years. Miss Tanya & Miss Maria make every day exciting for our 4 year old. Ms. Naira is still one of my daughter's favorite teachers ever, and she loves to go give her a big hug and check in with her at the end of the day. Are there less expensive options? Of course. But you get what you pay for, and we wouldn't trade what we have with the Imperial Rose team for anything. They're stuck with us for the long term.”
