“I have to update my review. Stater Brothers is on it, I really have to give them credit.I had to run in for a few things this morning and I was going to stear clear of the meats department. But, when I was passing that aria I saw two people discussing how to make sure their meats were as fresh and they could be for their customers. I really appreciated that. So I went up to them and talked to the manager Chris. I mentioned my problem and they assured me that they were working on fixing it and refunded my pork for Tuesday and gave me a gift card. I could see that they were taking this problem seriously. I really appreciate that. I couldn't be happier with my experience at this stater brothers market.Old review:I really like this stater brothers market. The staff are friendly, there's lots of parking out front and it's pretty clean and organized. I can easily find everything I'm looking for. I gave a 3 stars because I've continued to have issues with their pork. Half the time it goes bad by the next day or it's already rotten when it leaves the store. I've just gotten my last pack of green smelly pork from this stater brothers, I'm done.”

“Introduction:I came across this establishment when I was searching on Yelp for a place to grab a bite to eat. I decided to visit their website and found out the proprietor, Eagle, was one of the butchers that was on season 1 episode 6 of History's Channel's The Butcher. After watching the episode, it made me want to visit the place even more and my reasoning is as follows: in that episode of The Butcher, Eagle did not win first place in the contest but regardless, he still put the episode on his website for all to see. This conveyed to me Eagle was a true artisan who cared about the pursuit of his craft and how confident he was in what he does. As a result, I knew I had to give this place a try no matter what. Food:Breakfast sausage sandwich:This is my default go to for my weekend morning breakfast when I'm around the San Marino area. I enjoy the peppery kick and savoriness of the pork sausage, the gooey texture of the cheese, and the velvety smoothness of the egg. It's a balanced and wholesome sandwich that you'll feel good after eating it. What surprises me however, is how clean and smooth the sausage tasted; usually conventional meat lacks that kind of cleanness and smoothness. Often one only encounters that clean and smooth taste in meats when the meat is kosher [I usually have to drive to either Hollywood or Beverly Hills for that kind of meat quality and taste]. In addition, after eating the sandwich, one will feel a quick uptick in energy; it's a rare occurrence that one does not find in conventional sandwiches. Soup:Miso Soup:The miso soup is good here in the sense unlike normal miso, the miso that's used here is aged longer and hence has greater complexity and depth in its flavors. This is something I highly recommend drinking if you're someone who regularly undergo 20-24 hour fasting: it's a great way to break the fast. Drink:Cold Brew:I enjoy the cold brew here. Usually, cold brew that's served elsewhere has 3-4 notes in their flavor profiles; the cold brew here has usually two notes but they're more pronounced and distinct. I love its depth and how clean it tastes. Ambiance:Clean, classy, contemporary Service:The Proprietor and his staff are friendly and polite.Price:Reasonable.”

“They make their own tortillas and bake their own bread. they are both excellent. The meat quality here is outstanding. i always get their ranchera and costillas(prime) unmarinated because their meat quality is so good that it really only needs sea salt. I dont know what brand of beef they use for their prime short ribs but they tend to have much more marbling than other "prime" meat markets. but if you want premarinated meats, they are really good here too. they also have all the fancy wagyu beef cuts like ribeye, ranchera, tomahawks, picanha etc . Lastly, service is always top notch. If you are looking for a specific cut, just ask for it and they can cut it for you.”

“The store is clean they had a lot of water talk options I like that they keep the bathrooms locked so that they’re not dirty and gross. However, I was a little disturbed at a pair of pants in the trash in the bathroom and a shirt. The employee was real nice and put in the code to let us in the bathroom, they didn’t have much in the way of cat food options but the store was clean. The gentleman who checked us out was really friendly 10 out of 10 would recommend I hear great things about the butchers, but the smell of fish would keep me from getting any kind of meat from this location. If I can smell the fish department from the front door, I can tell that the rest of me is probably not great.”

“I get off work at 6am. This place was open and sold oatmeal. The cashier only knows Spanish. Which I think is awesome! She told me the oatmeal is sold in the back of the market. The cook gave me two oatmeals and I went to pay. It was only $5! There's also many other food options which I plan to try out. I will be coming back. The oatmeal was amazing. Especially if you like more of the "healthier" kind. I hardly tasted any sugar. It had a slightly milk taste. The oats where soft. There was a cinnamon stick inside. 8/10”

“This place has lots of good Mexican products.We went to get “tacos de carnitas “ they were good but when you guys order make sure to tell the guy to remove the bones from the meat otherwise you will not enjoy the tacos cuz you will have to remove them while you’re eating them . Other than that meat it’s good a little pricey but worth it.”

“John at the butcher counter was so helpful! My mom and I were shopping for our holiday meals and we were excited to discover Nick's Village Meats. I was searching for a nice cut of meat to make my grandma's traditional sauerbraten and John cut a piece that was perfect. My mom was looking for fresh crab meat for crab cakes and lobster meat for our Christmas seafood feast lobster mac and cheese. After trying several places in the Glendora area that did not have real crab meat (other than legs), we scored ar Nick's! John separated the meat from the shell for us and continurled to ask if there was more he could do. Short of cooking for us, we were set for some amazing dinners. It is now my go to butcher and I'll also be back to try the delicious looking prepared deli counter meals!”

“Los Toros Meat Market is a great neighborhood Meat Market (carniceria) with a little bit of everything in one small Market. Everyone is very helpful and patient. They have a hot food counter with a variety of specialty dishes. The butchers are very nice and helpful as well. They have a great selection of prepared meats ready to grill, to pan-fry, or just cook on the stove top for quick family dinner. They carry a variety of their own Los Toros Meat Market labeled seasonings, micheladas mixes, salsas, and more.On today's visit, we ordered a couple of pounds of aguachiles, which they didn't have any made but still went ahead and made us an order as we continued shopping till our order was done.Great service and a with smile.”

I'm eating your Hickory Beef with liquid smoke added.. WOW! I live in Montana and we love Jerky! I traveled to Texas last summer and they have good jerky. Yours is definitely a contender. The Wild River that's spreading like quickly is great however yours I think could definitely out perform!”

“This is the best meat market ever! It's very similar to the popular la carneceria meat market in bellflower. Their cuts are amazing. Meat is Super thin and it does not have a lot of fat. Only thing they could work on is packaging it nicer in a foil pan and maybe putting a little more juice when preparing it. They also need to Market more. More people need to know about this place. “I walked into this spot while visiting the Indian Restaurant next door, surprised they even sold hot food here. Fast forward 2 months….. I was craving a burrito and randomly thought of this spot before heading to Industry Hills Golf course. Walked to the back ordered an al pastor burrito (cook was soo nice), took the ticket to the front paid $11 they give you another ticket then, you give it back the person in the back, it was the day before Christmas Eve and they were pretty busy, the meat market itself is very clean, they do offer deals/sales and again the amount of people that were there showed that the turnover is really good. Really nice owners, loved that the Koreans are down to speak Spanish.”
