“Bright beginnings preschool has been an amazing school for our family. They are one of the few true play based programs in the area. They focus on the child as whole and meet the child where they are developmentally. The teachers and director are experienced educators who constantly share their knowledge, either directly with the parents or through the parent education aspect of the preschool. One of the most unique and special aspects of the school isn't the amazing open ended playground but the fact that it's a co-op. A co-op where families come together and work hand in hand with the faculty to strive to make an environment where children can thrive and just be kids.”

“So happy to have found Cadence Prairie City for our family! My son recently started in their Barnyard classroom and I can't tell you how appreciative I am of the teachers in there. They are so helpful at drop off assisting my son and helping him settle in for the day as he struggles with separation anxiety. The love and dedication these teachers have for their students in their care is extremely apparent! I'm so happy we found Cadence for our son! The director and assistant director are so helpful and responsive! Whenever I have any questions or concerns, they're answered or addressed immediately and always in a professional manner. We love Cadence @Prairie City!!!!”

“We have 2 children in Cadence, a 4-yo and a 2-yo, and both have been there since about 5 months of age. There are several daycares that are actually closer to our house, but when we initially toured those other ones (along with Cadence), we really thought Cadence stood out. We felt more of a caring element with the teachers and staff at Cadence than elsewhere. Also, it has a VERY large outdoor play area (out back), and the childcare rooms are more spacious than what we found at other facilities. After 4+ years we still feel the same about Cadence as we did on that initial tour. The teachers and the staff care about the kids, they listen to the parents, and they create a fun environment for kids to thrive, learn, and grow. Cadence also serves pretty healthy food and has been great in accommodating our childrens' dietary restrictions (pescatarian) - not to mention our picky eater likes most of the food they serve! There is no such thing as a perfect school - Cadence does suffer from a fair amount of teacher turnover, especially at the younger levels (e.g. 0-3 year old rooms). That said, I suspect that is more of an industry problem than a Cadence-specific issue. The best thing I can say is our kids enjoy going to Cadence every day, and they are much more socially advanced than kids who stay at home all day with a family member or nanny. Overall I would recommend Cadence for your child!A few quick comments on some other reviews: someone mentioned that positive reviews are motivated by free tuition raffles, but, having been there 4+ years I can say the staff has never once incentivized us (or even asked us) to write a review. Someone else mentioned their kid getting scratched on the neck by a teacher - I suppose that's possible but seems unlikely. Chances are the kid did it to themselves or another kid did it, which can happen at any school. If your child ever gets "injured" at Cadence you get a phone call and they write up and give you an official "injury report". This has happened a few times with our kids, e.g. when they fell and bumped their head or whatever.”

“I love everything about LFU! The staff is extremely personable. Everyone cares about your child, health, education, and growth. The campus is large with a lot of equipment for children of all ages to interact with. When my daughter started attending LFU she was in the toddler room. They have their own play area that my daughter absolutely LOVED. All the teachers are great at teaching, loving, and caring for children. My daughter runs to her classroom everyday!!”

“My daughter has attending preschool here for the past 1.5 years and will be graduating this spring. I couldn't have imagined a more caring, structured, and positive place for her to learn and grow as a preschooler. Ms. Elaine & Ms. Alicia, the owners, are simply wonderful, as are all the other teachers. There has been little to no turn over during our time here, which speaks volumes. I know my daughter is well cared for, safe, and has fun! When my daughter started she was painfully shy and was struggling to adjust. All the staff at JOC were patient and kind and with time, she came out of her shell & has flourished! As a parent it is THE biggest blessing to be able to drop my child off with complete trust and confidence in her caregivers. We will always have a special place in our hearts for JOC!”

“My daughter had a great head start due to the kindergarten preparation she received at Petite Scholars. She was reading at a 3rd grade level in kindergarten. Thank you Ms Martha!”

“My daughter has been in Action Day for 3 years since she was two and a half and we love this school.1. The tuition is one of the most affordable ones in town.2. It has the largest playground we have seen in town. It has trees. It is literally the backyard of a house in the residential area, but much larger. We love the natural setting. Kids definitely enjoy the outdoor time at school.3. It is a family business and parents' communication with Ms Joyce the owner is more direct and personal compared to some franchised preschools. The staffs (Ms Rhonda, Ms Shauna, Ms Kim, Ms Gabby, Ms Liz) are very easy to talk to.4. Over the past three years, the teacher in charge of my child's class has changed several times, which is not a desired situation but understandable because of the pandemic. Currently her teacher is Ms Kim, who is very caring, organized, and responsible. My child said she would miss her very much.5. As a parent, the most important parts to me when it comes to choosing a preschool include safety, reliability, and making sure the kid is happy and learning basic life skills. From my child's experience, this school has done a great job so far. During the pandemic, the school was kept open while following all the protocols. There was only one week of unexpected school closure due to COVID if I remember correctly, which is a great relief for a working mom who counts heavily on the normal operation of school. We have had a great time at Action Day and would highly recommend this preschool.”

“The level of learning and care that my kiddo gets here is phenomenal. All of the teachers are the sweetest and the Director, Chris, is just straight up good people. The kids get to be kids but I am amazed when my little one comes home spelling and recognizing words, knowing how to count past 100, and bringing these art projects that we are all totally proud of, and he's not even in kindergarten yet!”

“Excellent preschool - we enrolled both our children and couldn't be happier with our decision. From the caring guides and staff to the engaging and enriching environment, this preschool truly exceeded all of our expectations. Guidepost staff is prioritizing the cultivation of independence skills and instilling the virtues of grace and courtesy. Most importantly, the children show genuine affection for their time at school.”

“Where do I begin! I’m Ms. Elizabeth, I’ve been the lead Preschool teacher at LEA since December of 2020. I completed my bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies while teaching here and I am now moving on to Elementary. Little Explorers Academy is not just a daycare, but it is a family. Students, their parents, and their teachers collaborate in the most caring way, and we hold each other to the highest standards. LEA is not a corporate daycare that sees a child as a number. Every child is a part of the family, and their teachers care for them in this manner. Staff turnover rates are extremely low at this daycare, as administration promotes the structure of a work-life balance. Students here grow in a Montessori- like- cohort from ages 0-5, and many establish life-long friendships. The infant teacher, preschool teacher, and Ms. K provide students with the best quality education, routine, and meals. LEA has won the best food program award in the Folsom area for the last 5 years in a row, thanks to Ms.K’s spectacular cooking, and attention to nutritional value. Students become extremely well-rounded as a result of LEA’s program. Graduates from Little Explorers Academy have no problem moving on to kindergarten, as we promote manners, politeness, provide adequate education, and give students a sense of security and trust in their teachers. I am so sad to move on from LEA, as the students here have become my family. However, I have openly planned since my hire date in 2020 to make my way to Elementary after graduating with my BA. Oncoming staff are chosen with such diligence. Our new preschool teacher has a heart of gold, and I have been helping her grow accustomed to our routine over the last 3 weeks. I wouldn’t want to leave the kiddos with anyone else! All in all, if you are new to LEA, trust that your child is in the best hands possible ❤️Sincerely,Ms. Elizabeth”

“I cant say enough about Kindercare natoma station. There has been so many teachers that made my sons experience fantastic. Parveen the director made it feel like a second family to my children and I. They had my son since he was 4 months to 2 years old. Unfortunately I moved jobs and had to change him to a closer daycare. Kindercare was so great for him and his development. He learned to talk and say so much there. Parveen was always so easy to talk to and really cared. Michelle was also one of my favorites. She was his first teacher there. You will not regret taking your babies here. They will be treated like family and you'll always be updated with pictures and events throughout the day. Thank you Kindercare. we miss you!”

“Lexington Hills Kindercare has been our primary childcare since moving to the area in 2019. At the time, I had toured 10 facilities in the area and I chose this location because I really enjoyed talking to the director and assistant director. The place was clean, the kids seemed happy and well cared for. My son was 3 when he started, and since he was small, he'd been previously babied and very behind in verbal communication. Within weeks at Kindercare he was speaking full sentences.I now have my daughter there since 3 months, and we've been very happy with them. I can't say enough glowing things about the infant room caretaker. When we had a medical emergency in the family, she and her team made me a care package. It's little things like this that go beyond just being a corporate center. With the recent incident, we had our concerns about staying. We met with the Regional Director and talked about our concerns. We feel confident that they're taking what happened very seriously and they never want something to happen again. We were told about their safety review, trainings, and the new trainings that will be coming in the future. The woman that was fired had not lived up to requirements and with her departure, the Regional Director is reviewing and scrutinizing every part of the center personally. My kids love the teachers, and I still put my trust in this Center and the wonderful people there. There's improvement that we want to see in the next few months, but we have no doubt they'll get there.”
