“Dr jones and his staff were great. My dog tobi had been seen by multiple vets for over 4 months with multiple x-rays, lab work and even in office ultrasounds and he continued to vomit and lose weight. . i was referred to dr jones office and He and his office staff were great . The communication was great from his office staff and him. They told me all the prices up front and were able to explain all my options if they saw something . He was able to see the problem on the ultrasound and even able to biopsy it and the lymph nodes . He saw so many thing that other vets didn’t see. Unfortunately my boy has an aggressive form of cancer. He did get mass removed and is doing ok now. I wish I would of known about his office and specialty earlier as I would of brought him earlier, as i knew something was very wrong with tobi and suspected cancer as an oncology nurse myself. (maybe we would of caught it before it spread ) But i would highly recommend Him and his office staff if they can’t figure out what is going on or you want a very in detail ultrasound. They know what they are doing and he gave me the answers no one else could .”

“So glad I decided to go to Monarch after checking out the other vets in the area! My 14 y.o BC had an issue with her rear paw and was misdiagnoised at another practice. She was seen by Dr. Conner Reyes, who immediately put me at ease and knew I chose the right practice. Diagnoised the problem immediately. It was just an issue with a nail. Prices are extremely fair as well. I highly recommend Dr. Connor Reyes, and so does Gemma.🐾🥰”

The technicians took great care of Twix and he wasn't even groggy when I picked him up. Lemos has self serve dog bathing stations! $20 for a bath, a towel a choice of natural shampoo, ear wipes and an after bath spray. Set up and after bath clean up is provided by Lemos wonderful staff.”

“Dr. Conn and his staff at Cat & Exotic Care provide thorough, top-quality, care with compassion for both pets and their people! When my 11 year old kitty became ill in 2025, I reached out to our local cat rescue facility in Cambria to see who these feline-focused experts would recommend for the care my kitty needed. Without reservation, they recommended Cat & Exotic Care in Pismo Beach. It's a long way to drive but alas, I took the plunge with my sweet Maisy Rae (who I adore) and so appreciated the care they provided! For starters, they made the way to get Maisy in that day and they didn't speak a word of the inconvenience a tail-end-of-the-day visit was for them, but instead were focused on immediate care to a kitty in trauma. Within minutes of our arrival, with other customers in-clinic, we were in a private treatment room where Maisy's needs and mine were being carefully and thoroughly addressed, with both a clinical and financial attentiveness and the conservative approach we needed. Dr. Conn's assistant, May, was knowledgeable, engaging, and empathic and handled Maisy with exceptional care. Though our needs kept staff well after closing hours, never once was a word spoken about the time and never once did we feel rushed, much less did we feel pressured into making decisions that conflicted with my financial limitations or Maisy's quality of life. Dr. Conn was very detailed with his explanations, our options, and the progression of treatment that could potentially unfold with Maisy's treatment needs. Never once did I feel either shamed or compelled in one direction or the other. Maisy and I both left their office feeling much better than when we arrived, and Maisy has done progressively better each day with the treatment regimen they provided. 24 hours later I had the results of the blood work they had taken, and it was Dr. Conn himself who called to check on Maisy and to discuss the results of her bloodwork. I couldn't be more pleased with the care we received and will be back without hesitation. The best care ever!”

They were so helpful by allowing us to handle all our paperwork in the exam room so that I didn’t have to try and hold our dog and sign paperwork in the lobby. We are very happy we switched to this office!”

“Brought my 5 month old pup in for a checkup. Jordan was amazing. You can tell she loves animals. My dog was super happy the entire time. What a great staff! update: Dr. Devault is exactly the kind of vet you hope to find and rarely do — skilled, calm, honest, and clearly an animal person to the core. She handled my dog Lulu’s spay with incredible care and judgment. She explained things clearly, pushed back on anything unnecessary, and made thoughtful, conservative decisions that put Lulu’s long-term well-being first. I trusted her completely — and she earned that trust at every step. What really stood out was how comfortable Lulu was with her and the staff. Zero stress, smooth recovery, and when Lulu woke up she was alert, curious, and being her usual opinionated self — so much so that the staff was laughing about her playing with the equipment.
