“Good location, friendly staff, and clean place.Rooms: Decent size room with 2 queen beds and good size desk for business travel. Large TV screen with hi res picture. The single elevator is far away from the lobby so make sure to get a room on the first floor if you have lots of luggages since concierge service isn’t offered.Nearby activities: Parks nearby and stores.Safety: Feel safe, parking lot has wide open spaces.Walkability: Walking distance within 5 to 10 minutes to restaurants which are mostly Asian and some fast food franchise chains.Food & drinks: The bistro closes at 10 PM but we were able to order two hamburgers with salad on the side 15 minutes before closing. The fryer was inoperative so we could not order anything fried like chicken wings. Few selection of liquors, such as beer, wine, and hard drinks. Tried to order an old fashioned cocktail but the staff offered beer or whiskey on the rock instead since it was almost closing time. The burger and salad were okay.Noteworthy details: The hotel has a bar and a bistro within the reasonable size with comfortable seats lobby across the front desk.”

“Recently had my wedding here and from the day we booked the experience was easy and quick! Through the year from the time we booked til the wedding day George was quick to respond and answer any and all questions. We booked the outdoor gazebo area which is beautifully lit up and has a ton of space. We were able to go a few days before to discuss set up and have a small rehearsal the day before ( also because the area wasn't booked the day before. ) the staff was super helpful throughout the wedding. We did unfortunately get rain about 2 hours in but luckily we were able to move inside the bar area as we didn't have a ton of people so it was perfect! Before we knew it everything was moved inside except for the taco guy. He was set up under an awning outside so the rain didn't affect his set up. Clean up was also done by the staff. Thank you so much for such a positive experience for such a special day!”

“Cute little gem hidden in a random plaza in Buena Park! Hubbie and I were looking for a place to hang out after dropping off daughter to hang out for few hours. I like wine- he likes beer. We were so pleasantly surprised to find the place with a great selection of both! From the outside you wouldn't think much, but once inside, it is the most cozy and welcoming place. We chatted with the guy working there (can't remember his name but he was so friendly!), who told us that the owner likes to change up the drink menu monthly. They also have a shelf of board and trivia games to play, and host weekly trivia nights. We had a great cozy evening, and tried some excellent wine & beer for such a great price! Their flatbread was also very tasty. It is a great place to hang out and unwind for the evening. Thank you for a great time!”

“If you're a custard lover, order the dessert when you place your food order. It takes 30+minutes to prepare. Or just order the baklava ice cream! Delicious mix of Mediterranean foods, fresh bread (not reheated stale stuff) perfectly seasoned lamb kabobs (one is about 4oz, so I ordered two) and tabouli that I could pretend I made.”

“My first time at Purple Pedal. Kitty was really welcoming and also her class was so energetic it felt euphoric. Also, the cold towel at the end of the class smells amazing and feels amazing. Great class overall! Also the shoes are comfortable.”

“This place is the best! We had our wedding here last week. From the beginning Diane was always communicating with me from start to finish. To George and to Scotty! Scotty made accommodations for our decorator and many other things the day before our wedding. He and the staff were very attentive and friendly! I can't wait to get our photos from our photographer so that I can post the scenery, so much greenery for great photos, so much parking space and the food was delicious. My husband and I, our families and friends were in awww about the way it turned out. Thank you Diane and staff for making our day so pleasant, we're extremely grateful.”

“This is our favorite bowling alley. It still has that vintage bowling alley feel from the aesthetic down to the smell. The staff is super sweet and diligent and the lanes are well maintained. They have beer for those who enjoy a brew while bowling and they have vending machines for snacks. We have celebrated multiple birthdays here which the staff has always been super accommodating to. We've been coming here on Sundays for their special pricing for over a year now. We love seeing the same familiar friendly faces. Highly recommend this place”

“Pretty neat spot!Joined the cast of Cheers as I poured my own beers tonight, obligatory terrible pour with a mountain of foam, of course. Still, was fun to play bartender and get to try more beers than I typically would. You scan your ID and electronic form of payment with the cashier at the start. You receive a small device, think if a plastic bottle opener and a cigar cutter reproduced, and then off you go! Grab a glass, hope it's the right one for the style of sip you'll be selecting, make your choice, scan your device, and pour to your hearts content (and glassware's capacity)! Reconcile your tab at the counter where you scanned your ID. Such a unique concept and methodical way to save on labor costs and embrace the self-service way of consumerism.The beer assortment had some tasty choices, definitely will be back again to this Sweet Factory style brewery where you pay by the ounce!Beers were $0.59 per ounce, doing the math, a bit pricier for a standard pint, but a nice spin on the usual tasting house routine. Glassware was picked up often by the tending staff, makes sense if you're adding a tip at the close of your tab. Food truck rolled up in the evening (Fruti Di Mare) and it looked like a steady demand for lobster rolls, fish and chips, and other surf delights.”

“Very professional and easy to work with! Rebecca was very responsive, answered all of our questions and put our event together in mere weeks! Food was delicious, and Rebecca made quick adjustments to special dietary requests for both vegan, and gluten free guests.The crew the evening of our party were hands on, always present, and attended to everything seamlessly.I would love to add photos from our event, but I was having so much fun I hardly took any!Would absolutely use Colette's again!!!!!”

“5 ✨ all around. I am not a huge pizza and wings lover but man…it is so good here. Their ingredients taste very fresh and the pizza is not very greasy at all. The masala wings are super flavorful and apparently they also have a masala habanero version! Both equally good and with a kick. The hot cookie is also tasty and highly recommend ordering one to end your meal with and share with your table. The servers are very nice and Ziggy (the owner) is very accommodating. I am guilty of telling my friends about trying this place out.”

“We go here annually. My Great grandfather lived out here when he died of friendly fire in WWII. Our family visits every Veteran's Day since they've tracked us down. Good music, good food. They always save us a table since we're one of the Goldstar families.”

“Had my daughter’s Sweet 16 celebration there. It was absolutely beautiful. The venue was exactly what we needed. I received many compliments, everyone loved it. The patio made it that much better, especially with the gazebo.Our guests had a wonderful time , both adults and kids(and there were a lot of teenage kids !) Arlene and Linda were very helpful with the process of the rental . Arlene was very accommodating, as there were many last minute details that I had not originally accounted for . I highly recommend this hall , you will not be disappointed.”

“Great spot to come grab a drink. what I like about it, is it’s chill, not a wild crowd. Very laid back and older crowd. They randomly have food on special occasions but not on a daily basis. This is a great spot if you want to just go and grab a drink, not a spot to pick up or go clubbing just a low key chill laid back spot with an older crowd. Most places like this only allow access if you are serving or a veteran in the military; however this spot in particular welcomes all walk in guests and the drinks are lesser here than any other bar in the city or surrounding cities.”

“Where do I start? lol, the whole experience from beginning to end was amazing Mariah and Alexis make the best dual. They made the whole transition very smooth. I celebrated my daughter sweet 16. They both have great customer service and were very helpful and informative from beginning to end. They really take their job seriously and make sure to accommodate any of your needs. They were quick to respond to any of the questions or concerns. Their prices are very economical. They pretty much take care of everything. The staff was awesome. The decorations and center pieces are included as well. The food was very delicious. They have the whole dj both set up. So u don't have to be taking any equipment with you. It was definitely a memorable night for my daughter sweet 16. I highly recommend this place to everyone. I'm truly grateful and appreciate everything. “So, guess what? At Jump Jungle today, I spotted someone pulling off the last block from the wall, unveiling a bunch of rocks. I was like, "Uh, maybe fix that?" And you won't believe it – even with the front desk craziness, the tall dude rocked at helping us out. They cleaned up, and magically, my kid went from accident-prone to a mini ninja without a scratch. Big kudos to him for being our hero and being so nice and helpful and telling everyone to look at their kids because parents seemed unaware of the dangers and all and the staff really seemed chill and relaxed – we're pumped to swing by again!”

“We had such a wonderful time celebrating birthday party here. Everyone was well taken care of. Don't forget to fill out the waiver form prior to coming so you save yourself time. It does take sometimes a while to get out and play, but it was really fun and we all enjoyed ourselves. During your wait time there's also a couple free games that are available to play. They allow you to have your cake and a area to be able to eat . The manager, Shane was very kind and went out of his way to make sure everything was clear and taken care of and the entire staff made themselves available to explain things clean up and support everyone with their fun adventures here. Would highly recommend very reasonable, considering how much some laser areas are. Also, ample parking. And food areas in the area..”

“This cultural center has been around for as long as I can remember! I've participated in a good amount of TECCO-hosted programs and it's always nice to come and spend some time here. Parking is never a problem here - there are plenty of spaces and the parking lot is free. There are restrooms (and lots of them). And the amenities have generally been well kept across the years I've been here. I've submitted college applications for universities in Taiwan here. I've also come here for multiple music performances, attended leadership conferences, joined TAP or TJCC hosted events here, and much more. You can also renew your Taiwan passport here - they're really helpful and can also answer any questions via phone call (but they might speak limited English).”

“We held a wedding at four bricks this past month and it was a dream. We are locals of uptown Whittier and came across this charming venue and fell in love with it. From our first appointment we were taken care of & Josh was an angel. He answered all our questions and was even available by text for my last minute wedding questions. I was able to visit the venue multiple times and was able to hold my rehearsal dinner as well. They are flexible with the food menu and the food was delicious! Even with alcohol there are a lot of options on how you would like to provide that. While transitioning from ceremony to reception my guest were able to go next door to aunties which helped a lot. They even cut up my cake to be passed out! There were so many nice touches that this venue provided that made my wedding a blissful experience. Thank you four bricks and Josh!”
