“Coworker last week spent her third year anniversary with a male who did absolutely nothing on their special day. Notwithstanding the fact I was in agreement with our other coworker that year 1 is shame on them and that if you are in year 3 it's shame on you, it still didn't feel right watching someone not be appreciated (ESPECIALLY if she payin' da rent ). So, on my lunch break Friday I went to get her a bouquet of flowers (not roses, because I leave that for someone special in her future) and her favorite candy (Reese's), something her man (if I can even call him that) should have done Thursday. Arguendo, if people only knew their worth, didn't settle for less (not only in love but also in themselves in general e.g. personal expectations in mental well being, fitness, education, career, etc.), knew what they want before they're 25 and didn't waste time with losers, the world would be much better off. Unfortunately, more often than not it takes encountering the rotten apples before appreciating the sweet ones. (Errr... One, I mean one! )”

“This place has a large selection of anime and other Japanese DVDs. They even have an adult section! In addition to the DVDs, they have all sorts of anime items - clothing, stuffed toys, action figures, key chains, posters, wallets, totes, etc. If you are an anime lover, you've definitely hit the jackpot here. There was so much to look at but the place was a little cramped. My husband wound up purchasing two gifts for his sister and I bought a Totoro tote bag. The employee behind the counter was polite and quick to ring us up. Overall, it was a good experience.”
