“When you miss your Mexican snacks this place brings you back home!! They have a huge variety of chips, juices, sodas, candies & prepared snacks ? Tostilocos is main reason to come here, but when I saw their extensive menu I was so excited to come back! Everytime I come I leave with a bag full of Mexican candies & chips. The good is prepared in big servings and deliciously! The only thing I didn't like but wasn't a burden was the payment. It was only zelle transfers. A little weird.and it's only take out too.”

“The Fruit Stand has the best produce around! This place gets most of its fruit and vegetables from San Diego County so it is FRESH as fresh can be. Most of the products are organically grown or at least pesticide-free as well. Cheaper than a farmer's market and more variety. Some items they carry are: broccoli, lettuce, carrots, string beans, radishes, potatoes, strawberries, cilantro, cucumbers, raspberries, corn ears, apples, oranges, snap peas, avocados, onions, ginger, mangoes, pomegranate, passion fruit, guavas, spinach, eggs, blueberries, blackberries among many others.”

“A fabulous gourmet supermarket. They have a buffet of vegetables, stews, olives, soups... all exquisite. You serve yourself, you pay at the register and you can eat at the bar that is in the same supermarket or you can eat at the tables in the square. I recommend it to you.”

“Always a pleasant experience shopping at Barons! Their produce is fresh and prices are good and they have a wonderful salad bar for those who want to make a green salad, plus a salad bar that includes pre-made salads. Next to that is a soup bar with fresh homemade soups (plus mac & cheese!) and rolls. There are sections for fresh meats, cheeses, deli items, breads, beer, wine, and soft drinks. The clerks are friendly and helpful, and that makes the shopping experience even better.”

“This is a great little farmers market in the heart of Grantville, just west of Allied Gardens, off Friars Rd. & Rainer Ave. Adjacent to In & Out Burger across the street from Panda Express. The owner has changed hands, but market is back open and its nice to see they will be in our neighborhood to stay! They stock fresh local farm vegies and fruits at more affordable prices than Vons their nearby neighbor. Some of their can goods are a bit more pricey, and some snacks are higher, but a small business cant always obtain things in bulk like a larger chain. And its nice not having to deal with the angry people that drive through vons parking lot!!Its really unreal how traffic is now at the grocery stores. I cant wait till they turn 60, and have to slow down a bit for the newer generation around them, lighten up peeps! We all have to go to the grocery store, quit fighting with each other and stop being so mean!Back to the Farmers Outlet, its great they are open on Mondays now! Ignore thePERMANENTLY CLOSED at the top, they ARE BACK OPEN! Trade with their business, very nice people, and sometimes their low on stock, but have found Monday/Tuesday is best days to go!”

“I came across this grocery store a couple weeks ago when looking for something specific and not finding it in other Asian markets. It turns out that item was no longer being manufactured, so while I didn't find it I found a suitable alternative. The real treasure from that hunt was finding this store. I picked up a bunch of things to try that I've never had before, including polvorón from House of Polvoron brand I've now been searching for more of that, and happened to be in the neighborhood again today. Their selection of polvoron beats that of the larger Asian markets, and I also found some great fruit you can't commonly find elsewhere. I intend to stop by every time I'm close by. They may not have everything the larger Asian grocery stores have, but if they did, maybe they wouldn't have as great a selection of the more specialty items they carry that other stores lack. Thank you for being you, Paradise Valley Produce and Grocery.”

“I loved this Aldi, it is far from home but I would definitely return, the products look fresh, they have a lot of variety, their prices are very accessible and convenient”

“It's always fascinated me to come here, well it's not my first time, but I like to be away from other location in Clairemont, because of traffic and their parking lot were just too chaotic, and I've been going there for years, until this one opened in Chula Vista, it is more convenient, didn't realize they have a community here as well. Ok every time I come here, it brought back a lot of memories from my childhood, when I would come and only scan the instant noodles and snacks sections, then I will pick two from each brand of noodles, anyway they have so many brands now that it probably cost me a lot of money to try them all, but I am so amazed that they grew so big, also I didn't know they started selling self heating giant meals now, so any imported stuffs from China, Taiwan, Singapore and Hong Kong, they would sell here, of course it is expensive, so just don't over do it, so many premium instant noodles that I tried in the past, and yes I am over that noodles craving and go on with a healthy diet :) but I gave the instant hot pot a try, for $12 and you get a meal in less than 15 minutes without hot water, magic right? I saw so many commercial about this when I traveled back to Asia, and now finally get to do it, because I never understood about this science project :) This location always be my last minute shopping if others two sold out of stuffs, I would stop by here and they got them fully stocked. Perfect for someone like me :)”

“This mom and pop shop is a hidden little gem here in Chula Vista. The sweet grandmother there makes the best banana nut bread hands down without a doubt. The older gentleman there is so caring and helpful that I honestly leave feeling like I just saw family. We have made it a little tradition to come here each year to grab a Christmas tree and when I tell you're getting a steal because the big tree lots will run you 200 a tree and you Getty's same tree at Bol Bol's for 60..”

“I stopped by this Aldi after spending the morning in Chula Vista to pick up some items on my way home. The place was not as busy as expected, so that was a good thing. I could tell, however, that the morning had already been through, given that a lot of items needed to be restocked. Luckily, most of the items I needed were in stock except for yellow potatoes and some breakfast sausage I wanted. I got my pastured raised eggs, sliced deli chicken, ham, lemons, and a few other items. Customer service at the register was good and quick. The young man helped me bag my items.”

“This where we get our water. Only cost 1.25. The store it self is very small they vegetables, fruits, and a variety of grocery. The staff are very friendly and helpful.”

“This Aldi is clean and had a lot of options. I've become a newbie to Aldi but appreciate their prices and quality of items. They have decent prices for fruits and meat. They sell some of the stuff you'd also see in a Walmart or Target (snacks and drinks) but also have their own items you can only find here. Their quarter system to use their carts (guessing to prevent theft) and their option to use your own bags here add to their Earth friendly atmosphere. I can see myself shopping here more often. The bottom line is they do sell quality food items here.”
