“I am just in the process of switching from a second RiteAide pharmacy as the first one closed down after I was with them since they opened their doors almost 20 years ago and when I went to drop off a prescription at their drive up window, they had closed their doors without a notification whatsoever! Then I moved to the RiteAide at the corner of Country Club & Cook Streets. Unfortunately they don't have a drive up but they did tell me they had "FREE" delivery & they did for almost two months when unknowingly they stopped that service without any warning! I was then forced to send my Care Giver to pick up any scripts they had ready for me. Unfortunately, they couldn't produce all of my scripts at once so we were constantly sending my Care Giver day after day until I got all of my prescriptions in hand! My brother, from Colorado notified me that RiteAide just filed chapter 11 and hopefully promised to take care of their current customers they had now and pull out of bankruptcy someday in the future . Not on my watch! This is when my sister from Texas stepped in to help me locate just the right place for me to go. She found Greg at Cornerstone Pharmacy on Washington Street. The Lord was shining down on me today! You always listen to your Sister, so I called Greg at Cornerstone pharmacy and she was right on! Greg was so nice on the phone and so polite and helpful that I'm sure I'll be able to update this with a positive update soon, hopefully within a week. I just know that my Sister found a new home for all of my pharmaceutical needs! What a relief! The first thing I liked about Cornerstone Pharmacy is they are privately owned, not a corporation that doesn't care whether you get your medicine or not! Cornerstone Pharmacy will deliver right to your door as long as you are home, have a drivers license, and sign for your medication, and pay for it naturally. Easy as that! As of this pre-review on October 16, 2023, I expect to be moved in with Cornerstone Pharmacy within a week or so and will reply back here as soon as possible with a permanent review! But after talking to Greg, I doubt there will be much of change other than to tell you how great they are at Cornerstone Pharmacy on Washington Street! “They're not the easiest to find being tucked behind Kaiser Permanente at Cook and Gerald Ford, but they are well worth the challenge. For years, I went to another compounding pharmacy in Palm Desert for an injectable medication. This went on until they raised their prices. Then I went to a different compounding pharmacy in Riverside, until THEY got too expensive (jacked the price and cut the strength in half. Both pharmacies charge extra for syringes, usually around $5/pack of ten. Ambrosia Compounding Pharmacy is not only $10 less, but they give me two packs of syringes at no extra cost! The medication needs to be kept cool, and the Palm Desert pharmacy would include one cold pack, but it will cost you $2.50 for each additional. Easy comparison: FP in Palm Desert = $160, plus $5 (or $10), plus $2.50 per cold pack. MS in Riverside = $165, plus $5 or $10, no cold pack given. Ambrosia Pharmacy = $150, includes ten syringes AND two cold packs! Simple math.”

“We ordered a graduation cake and the bakery at Albertsons did not disappoint, the photo and decor was fantastic, the cake was delicious and we were absolutely thrilled with the results. My only issue would be that they need to offer fresh berries as a filling option.”

“With the exceptions of returns on certain items that have a time limit (e.g. many electronics, TV's, cellphones, etc.) they will give you a full refund for things you're not satisfied with. But what can become an issue is if something you have breaks down months later and you want to get a replacement. If that item is still available in the store but costs more money you're expected to pay the difference. I once bought a chiming wall clock by Seiko that broke. I liked having it but due to price hikes more than related to recent inflation the very same clock they had available was a lot more money. Not sure if it would be a feasible option. But since we pay a premium for the executive membership it would be great if they allowed exchanges to replace defective merchandise as an included perk for those of us that pay double the price of a standard membership.Lastly, navigating my purchase history on their website can be a bit of a pain. It's quite cumbersome to search for items I bought that I may need to return. For example, I had to return a Sonicare toothbrush that went dead. It is not only so much work for me to search for the online receipt looking through my purchase history but it also takes a long time for an employee who is willing to do the same while in the store. Don't get me wrong. I'm very appreciative of the return process but there should be a better system in place like some type of keyword search engine to more quickly find an item's digital receipt. For example, I should be able to type in the word "toothbrush" or "dental hygiene" in a search engine while perusing the "Orders and Purchases" while signed into my account on their website. Once I have the information including the date and amount paid for my purchase I could provide the clerk at Costco with a printed copy of the specifics to save them a ton of time searching on their end. It would be a lot more productive for everyone if they made this adjustment to their website.Okay, one last thing. And this has been a problem I've experienced with Costco stores around the country. There are times when items are out of stock. I'm referring to grocery items that I purchase regularly. It would be great if Costco could somehow create an 'electronic' system for customers to keep track of inventory so that I can avoid wasting trips to and from the store for items I regularly purchase but aren't in stock. I only like to go to this store once a month. If I walk out of the store unable to buy two or three items (that I buy in bulk to last me the entire month) I buy regularly it becomes a bit disappointing. I am tempted to deduct another star from my rating for this occasional inconvenience that I've encountered ever since I've been a member (nearly two decades) of Costco. But I'll keep my rating at four stars.”

Very good deals on tires for autos, if they have what you need, or you can special order from a good variety. $20 mounting fee includes lifetime balance, rotation AND hazard... food court has very limited selection, but very good quality and very inexpensive. Associated gas station very competitively priced.”

“So happy I spoke to the pharmacist who was compassionate. He sounded honest, straightforward, very helpful and I’m happy to give him my business! This is something, I have not seen at a Walgreens, for several years, and it’s imperative when dealing with people who come to your business to get wellness services and need you, to feel better, or human. I tell you, it’s amazing how much I have lowered my standards and settled for the old pharmacy , for so many years, for not even mediocre service, and downright terrible customer service at times. “I was informed by urgent care to seek medical attention asap with my pcp and have labs done. I scheduled an appointment for labs through the KP app. After working all day and driving to Palm Desert, I was turned away when I arrived for my scheduled lab appointment. As I left, I called the customer service number and got my angel Gladys on the other end. I had an appointment scheduled for me with Dr. Williams, an order for labs and medication by 7 pm! Gladys definitely made up for the unprofessionalism at the lab, I just feel the receptionist wasn't able to articulate the protocol properly and may require more training. Dr. Williams was absolutely amazing and caring. I'm truly grateful for the Kaiser staff like Gladys, Dr. Williams and the pharmacy department who work with empathy and do their jobs efficiently with their patients' best interest at heart. Gladys was just doing her job, not realizing that she saved me from developing serious complications. I'm forever grateful.”

“I can never go to another pharmacy ever again. I use to go to CVS or Walgreens but I always had an issue getting my medication or having to wait hours just to pick up my script. Diane is amazing & the staff are always super friendly. Think the longest I've waited to get my meds is a couple minutes at most. Insurance is never an issue. If you want to pick up you medication fast or don't want to deal with insurance issues this is the spot. I live in Indio so it takes me a good minute to get here but it's sooo worth it. They also deliver. A++”

Not to mention, the staff is always friendly and kind, and they are so consistent in calling me to remind me to pick up my medication. Very grateful for them.”
