We went here for used book sales and often took home some books. Good variety of books. If you are a book lover , you would enjoy spending a couple of hours to read some books .

This is a wonderful organization,Wish hours for donations were not restricted to 3-5 pm which is very inconvenient due to congested traffic on Middlefield and pretty much all roads in area.

while most local bookstores are struggling all these years, the friends of Palo Alto library always attracted so many people. Friends of the Palo Alto Library (FOPAL) is a member-supported non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the Palo Alto Public Library and its users through volunteerism, book sales, and advocacy. Our volunteers conduct monthly and online sales of books and other media donated by the community. Net proceeds from our sales are used for the purchase of books, media, online resources, equipment, and special programs for Palo Alto’s five public libraries.
