“I love Lazy Acres. I have lived in Manhattan Beach for over 23 years. I actually live walking distance from Lazy Acres on Artesia just a few homes down from Miracosta high school. The property Lazy Acres is on used to be the auditorium and indoor skate park where my sons attended because they are members of the church, Hope Chapel. The staff at Lazy Acres are wonderful. Robert, Danny and Pedro, along with the store associates are all really nice except for this one person named Tiffany! I went into Shop one day, and as I am bagging my own groceries, my choice, because I feel it's best to help out when you have some groceries and I did have a lot, she gets upset because I used two of the premade double bags she had prepared and put in with the other bags. She had the nerve to say to me, "You keep taking my bags!". I tried to ignore her, but she said it again And the fact that I'm bagging my own groceries...It doesn't matter if I'm doubling the bags myself or if she's bagging the groceries. I'm sure she would use the double bags or if there was a bagger available they would use the double bags. She went on and continued to argue with me how she didn't want anyone using the bags that she took the time to double. First of all, she's on the clock and the time she spends checking, doubling a bag, bagging the groceries or not, it's going to be the same for her, and I found it very rude for her to talk to me the way she did . I did contact the manager and I hope that she was spoken to about this situation. If that had been my first time in that store, and that happened to me, I would never return, because I can't believe someone could be so rude to a customer who is bagging their own groceries. I know you all are wondering why I would give the store a five star review. I did so because the store is wonderful and the staff is wonderful but it's just that one bad Apple that stood out and I wanted to bring the situation to the table and let others know.”

“Easy parking, shopping, and courteous staff. The store is clean, never too crowded and even a great place to sit at the bar and have dinner - salads, sandwiches, sushi, etc.”

“HiBrazil Market is more than just a store, it is a portal to Brazil. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves Brazilian culture or wants to explore it for the first time. You will not be disappointed!”

“A very unique store for the LA area, TBC is a small import market with mostly grocery items from the UK that are difficult to find. In addition to scrumptious British candies like Lion Bars or Smarties, there's also English cooking products like Lemon Curd, Onion Gravy, and Toffee Pudding. I was greeted immediately by the staff here and helped around the store (although I've been to England once, I'm hardly an expert). Everything I bought tasted great, although I must confess I have a bit of nostalgia for the British Isles. Anyway, this gets 5 stars for being a pioneer in English goods in SoCal and for obvious love put into the store by its owners.”

“Oh my gosh aldi is amazing, the prices are decent, and the quality of their meats, vegetables, ice cream and snacks are terrific, if you're into keto then aldi is the place to go. Their customer service is friendly, kind, and helpful, they also sell items like rugs, dishes, a bunch of miscellaneous items that you may need, like electric heaters, cooling fans, there's so much I can't name them all, while everyone else is raising prices aldi stays ahead of the game by sticking to low prices and great quality.”

“Literally the best market in town. I come here once or twice a week. Unbeatable price: especially the protein. Thinking about cancelling my Costco membership. Very wide international selection: Italy, Middle East, Russia, etc. and regular stuff too. Ridiculous amazing selection of wine. Lastly: Has a food court with BBQ that's good price vs. taste and amount of meat. I second the negative option that once in a while I get bad customer experience. I think the store tries to hire diversity in terms of age and ethnicity. All good; it's forgiven, since the guy at the meat selection is always happy and filled with vibrant energy.”

“First time we went in there was on Tuesday. I have to say it is a very clean place, prices are very reasonable and the Chicken and ceviche were very good 2 thumbs up. They have alcohol which is a good thing I don't have to go to 2 different stores. They got themselves a new customer. Please go check them out no lines to get in.”

“This is one of the largest Aldi that we've visited. The store was absolutely clean, shelves and cases were well stocked on a Sunday evening, and service was friendly and helpful. It was an easy hop off the 405 on our way back to San Diego. Shopping center parking was plentiful. We stopped for one item and left with six! Great experience.”

“Store is very organized and taken care of very well. It's a small family owned business and has art inside the store walls and even on the outside which really gives you good vibes once you walk in the store. The carne asada and guacamole they sell at the meat department is unbelievable, very well marinated definitely recommend it. Employees were very friendly and gave me a nice welcoming.”

“Friendly custumer service. They have 2 butchers & a fresh meat department. Fruits, vegetables & the other usual stuff you would find in a not so small market. Sometimes they have tasty, warm food ready to go in minutes.”

“Simply the best grocery prices around. They don’t have every product you might want, but what they lack in variety, they make up for with cost savings. Ralphs, their sister store, doesn’t compare for most items, to say nothing of the preposterously overpriced Vons.”

“The only drawback to this food 4 less is there is no place to lock up my bike so i gotta lock it up by the sopping carts and that leaves room for potential damage. But other than that it's a great store. Very close to where I live.”

“100% Aldi is some kind of euro-cult thing. The brands are odd, there's a weird mix of products, and things can be hit and miss. You will find a decent variety of european strange foods, candies, etc. And of course there's the aisles of Kmart like "home products and knock off toys." Maybe Aldi was born out of a German grocery and IKEA having a love child. I dunno. But what I know is....- Prices are undeniably LOW- There are some amazing finds to be found- You can almost check off your grocery list- If you're willing to make some compromises you'll save a tonRemember to bring a quarter with you so you can get a push cart. You put the quarter in to "check out" your cart and you get it back when you've clicked it back into the cart parking area. How genius as it give people an incentive to return the flippin' cart and not bump it into everyone else's car. Aldi. Land of the odd and home of the strange. But I dig it.”

“Very nice location. The store is always nice and tidy and the staff is great. I am one of those shoppers who takes customer service very seriously. And I must say that they never disappoint here. Staff is willing to answer your questions and also lead you in the right direction of what you're looking for.”

“People say China Joe has got to go because of crushing inflation and the migrant crisis. So Gardena Super's great prices may not make you forget the out of control violent crime in the neighborhood but the service and selection are very good.”

“Like the convenience of being able to go to Walmart Market and finding items that are not always available at other Markets. They just need to work on securing their parking lot a bit better.”

3.5 Good195 Reviews

“It's usually very clean and orderly. The staff is friendly & eager to help. However there does always seem to be congestion at the checkout lanes.I wish they offered a bit more selection on a lot of items, but I'd shop here before going to the closer Albertsons or even Ralph's!10/23 UPDATEThis market has started "catering" to self check out, which is fine if you've got that certain 1 or 2 nights of dinner in the cart!However...if you're feeding the whole family OR don't really want to grocery shop every other day, a full cart is the way to go! And after shopping for it all I really don't want to cash myself out, bag & package it all.So it's either a quick grab & go or be prepared to do it ALL yourself. ?”
