“It's a smog check, not Starbucks. Guy isn't big on small talk. So what? He can can talk to me or not talk to me however he wants within reason. Even so, our conversations were professional and cordial, even if they were few in words. He does walk-ins only. And he doesn't like to answer or talk on the phone much. That's all a bit annoying. But it's his business, it's working for him, and it's not hurting anyone. I've been there twice. Once with out of state plates and another on the due date for my smog check/registration renewal. Had the opportunities, but didn't try to take advantage of me and always stuck to the price mentioned on the phone. I'll go back next time I need another smog check.”
