Kids had fun especially in the flight simulator and 4d show! There are a lot of things to look at but also a lot of reading so I wouldn't recommend for younger kids.

Fantastic place to go with kids. So many rooms to see and lots of hands on activities for the kids. Loved it! Went to 3 museums in one day at Balboa Park and recommend the Explorer Pass.

Fantastic collection of aviation artifacts from WWI thru the Space Shuttle. Lots more f hands on exhibits. Don’t forget to try your hand at the Space Shuttle and Blue Angel simulators. $25 adult entrance fee we’ll worth it.

Aviation history is truly a remarkable story, and it all unfolds at the San Diego Air & Space Museum. Your journey through the history of flight begins as you stand beneath a model of the Montgolfier brothers’ hot air balloon of 1783 - the first manned vehicle in recorded history to break the bonds of gravity and lift humans above the Earth.
