A volunteer (non-medical) hospice organization providing in-home respite care, end of life and bereavement support services, professional and community education to county residents for the past 41 years. The only hospice agency in the county providing in-home respite support and care management to those with a life-limiting or terminal illness who are continuing to pursue curative care regardless of diagnosis, do not quality for Medicare-reimbursed hospice care or need an additional layer of support. Serves as both a bridge and safety net agency for clients as they ride a roller coaster of declining health. All services provided free of charge and insurance never billed.
