“Kelly at Rucci's is the best! I have a 6lb toy poodle who she grooms every other month and she does a great job and I feel so safe leaving my little guy with her. She also communicates well and is easy to schedule appointments with! She's a great groomer of little dogs which can be tricky due to their size!”

“WOW! My first time here - What a positive experience! This is truly a long time family owned business with well deserved top reviews. Melissa kindly handles everything at the front desk and office - her Dad, Dr. Archinal has been a vet since 1982, and is calm, kind, and wise. He's seen so much - his very presence is reassuring. I felt like, no matter what my dog was dealing with, this Dr would have experience and can offer meaningful perspective and advice. What I came in for - was 2 small lumps on her that I was afraid would need biopsy and maybe more - he looked at them and said, I don't think they are a problem, you don't need to do anything, just keep an eye on. What a relief - hundreds saved there! And - even more - when I adopted my 80# dog from a large East Bay shelter 3 years ago (she was dropped off as a senior at a night deposit box, with broken off teeth, so we did not know her past) - I took her to UC Davis dental vet dept and was quoted $5-6k to address her situation. That was out of reach for me so I gave up hope on being able to help my dog in that way, but I'd do the best I could to give her the best life in other ways. It was so scary I didn't even want to look in her mouth from then on, and it was hopeless anyway. Dr A calmly apprised her situation, gave me solid simple, do-able, advice about how to care for her teeth and gums from now on - and I got a quote for less than 1/3 of that prior quote to do the dental work she needed! Now, I feel like I can take care of this, finally, 3 years after adopting her. God Bless this honest, down to earth, family clinic that treats their patient animals like family too!”

“Dog whisperer and now cat whisperer. Dr. Marinho is a gift. It started with our Bernese Mountain Dog. He was beginning to have frequent neck pain. It was painful to watch him. He is 10.5 years old. So that is awesome for a Berner. His regular vet put him on Gabapentin daily which takes a toll on a dog’s liver/kidneys. I refused to give him daily. Since Sterling has been seeing Dr. Marinho for acupuncture and taking muscle and neck supplements, he’s like a 2 year old. He has not shown any neck/spine discomfort for months. On his walks, people ask if he’s two. Now our Ragdoll cat is 12.5 years old and got very sick. So is it hyperthyroidism, IBS, or lymphoma? So now Dr. Marinho is treating him as well. We now started acupuncture and supplements on him. She is so knowledgeable, patient, and kind. She is a delightful partner in figuring out the best options for my senior guys. I’m grateful for Dr. Marinho. Selfishly with all the kudos, I fear she’ll get even busier. Oh well, she is amazing. With thanks, Kimberly 12/29/2022”

“Kauai had a tooth extracted and cleaning and I was very nervous about it! It was an Easy drop off, doctor came out and explained what would be happening, the procedure was quick and I received a kind phone call explaining how she did. Pick up was also a breeze and someone gave me thorough instructions verbally and written out, on how to take care of her. Kauais extracted area looks great and healthy so far and her teeth look fresh as well. Overall great experience, everything went very smoothly, and my nerves were calmed! Every time I take her in the vet is very kind and direct, they have helped manage her anxiety for vet visits and other triggers which has been very helpful. Overall I’m always pleased when I leave there.”

“Came back to Terra Linda and Dr. Adams Berg today after adopting a new dog. As before, staff was friendly and helpful and took their time talking with us to get familiar with our pup. Fees were reasonable and you never get that corporate feeling like so many vets these days. We make the time and hassle to drive from Oakland, yes Oakland!! Love this practice!”

“Currently not a client at this vet office but would love to be! I spoke with someone on the phone a few days ago. I just recently got a puppy and she is due for her 2nd round of vaccinations. The receptionist politely told me that they are currently not taking any new clients due to COVID-19, which seemed reasonable. She placed me on a brief hold and she instructed me to call back in a few days when another vet would be in the office and she may be able to see my puppy! Additionally, she gave me some great advice on taking care of my puppy's diarrhea caused by her diet and dewormer. My puppy is now pooping normally and much happier! Looking forward to reaching out again in the upcoming days to hopefully get her seen for her shots!”

When no one could manage to see my dog due to understaffing or lack of availability (and I mean almost everywhere) East San Rafael Vet came to the rescue. My dog needed help and they provided wonderful care that was kind, gentle, and reassuring. I can't express how grateful and relieved I feel to have discovered them and am hoping to have them become my pup's new primary vet. I was even allowed inside which helped my dog feel comfortable; I've never before seen him greet a vet so happily. Thanks guys!”

“Finding the words to properly express the immense amount of praise and gratitude for Dr. Siek seems impossible. From routine well-visits, to emergencies, the level of care, presence, reassurance and professionalism is something I wish all vets (and human doctors) would aspire to. Dogs don’t lie. Our dog excitedly drags us into the office and upon greeting Dr. Siek lays down and asks for belly rubs. That says a lot about our dog’s sense of trust and safety with Dr. Siek (even when poking and prodding is involved). The entire staff is wonderful, compassionate, and helpful with all of the nervous dog-parent questions and concerns.
