They have yummy specials for breakfast, lunch and dinner that I crave. Not to mention the best homemade cookies! I’ve loved everything I’ve eaten from here. And they carry great gluten free options and organic and natural food choices. The owners really care about the quality of the ingredients and the products and are always there making sure everything is running smoothly. It’s got a classic Placerville charm with both indoor and outdoor seating and is even dog friendly!”

“This place is a total gem! My wife found it when looking for a particular bottle of bourbon for me. Not only did she find some extremely rare bottles here, the owners were absolutely amazing and the most friendly people you could imagine. My wife ended up getting me a bottle of Blanton's gold and I picked myself up a bottle of Weller's reserve. Wish I would have found this place years ago!”

“f you're in Placerville on a Thursday through Sunday, you should definitely stop by The Wine Smith! They offer a great selection of wines and each glass is only $9! Scott is eager to find you a glass you like, and will let you sample before you make your choice. He also sells wine by the bottle if you fall in love with your choice. It's got local artists work displayed and music on a turn table. The Gregory Graham Chardonnay is fantastic!”

“I take my daughter to Foothill Taekwando next to this market. We were headed in to Taekwando when I accidentally shut the door on my daughter's fingers. I brought her in the store frantically looking for ice forgetting my wallet in the car. The man in the store gave me a bag of ice for her hand. I offered money for the bag of ice later after I had come back days later and he will would not take the money so I bought things from him and always will now. These people are kind hearted good people.”
