“I've been a Mt View resident for 30 yrs and I've had to utilize this branch for banking including settling estates for my parents back in 2007-07. I recently lost my oldest sister this year and again they were helpful in resolving my sisters trust including accessing a bank deposit box that wasn't utilized since early 2000. Both Hansen Lee (MtView) and Sanjeev Kumar (SF) were so helpful in assisting this transition of trust and accessing a box to access contents. They have always been extremely helpful to me with all services and transactions! Thank You so much!”

“A big shout-out to Polly and her gangster squad here in this location. Palin, Connie and that newbie teller Raymond. Palin and Connie (and Polly !!!) are an absolute delight. They are always very willing and accommodating when I go there to drop off some moolah for deposits.`Very professional and personable . It is tucked in the corner of California and Castro, right across a Bank of America which can be hellish with the lines very often. The atmosphere at Bank of The West Castro St. is calm, welcoming and they laugh at my jokes ... which means they get how crazy I can be...in a versatile and full of finesse kind of way. Connie is often times the teller who helps me.`Polly would come around (I believe she is the branch manager) and would join in the chatter when I am the only one making noise echo and have it bounce like bad check against the walls of their first-floor branch. Palin has her sh%T together and if I am making a complicated transaction, she won't hesitate to come save the day. One time, I was having too much fun chit-chatting while my $$$ was getting deposited that I left forgetting my favorite visor (you know, the kind that shades your entire trunk). I called the bank and Polly answered the phone and told me that they will hang on to my visor and keep it safe until I am back there. This branch is super rarely swamped...even of Fridays ! Hence, not only are the clubs along this strip the best place to be on a Friday, this bank also got your grooves intact.”

“Great convenient location. Don't have to go south of 101, geez what a hassle if this ATM weren't here. Withdrawals and deposits. I originally thought it was a deposit only, then read the 2 year old review, and came back to make my withdrawal :] in, n out, n in, n out again in a jiffy. What a withdrawal. Dispenses 50's and 20's, auto choose or choose yourself.”

“The Cupertino union 76 service station automotive repair facility I can't find one problem with them. On a spur of the moment I took my van to get smog that has been sitting for a very long time without being used. The service man who helped me asked a few questions and informed me that since it's been sitting so long it's a good idea especially for a car this old to be driven on the freeway for 20 minutes. I went ahead and took his advice and came right back in 25 minutes. He then smog in the van even though he had a lot of other work to do. I think he fit me in between waiting for parts I guess. I guess he knew what he was talking about because the van ended up passing with flying colors. The workers in the garage really seem to be on the ball with what they were doing including helping me. A smog test site I used to go to shut down I guess because of COVID-19. This was the first time I use this place. I would go ahead and highly recommend them for smog in your vehicles. The price was reasonable and competitive with other places. Way to go 76!”

“Got a chance to checkout the sandwich shop while I was in the area. It is a delightful sandwich stop conveniently located within the grocery store. If you are in a rush this shop has a wide range of options, and it's a go-to for a quick and tasty sandwich. Fresh ingredients and flavorful combinations make their sandwiches a solid choice. The service is quick and the people there are extremely nice. If sandwiches don't appeal to you they have plenty of other options that look delicious. The sandwich itself isn't out of this world but gets the job done. It is extremely filling and quite nice. They also toast the sandwich if you would like.Overall I would recommend this place if you are in the area.”
