“My daughter is here in pre-k class. This is her first time leaving parents and going to school. She cried a lot in first few days. The teachers there are very patient, to get my daughter feeling comfortable and beloved. She even doesn’t speak English at home, but the teachers teach her step by step on language. Now she is happy there and can speak a little English only after two months. What’s more, the teachers are very responsible. I saw some news that there are preschools leaving children unattended in early morning like 8:30am. But here, no matter how early you sent you child, there are always teachers in the room to take care of the children. We sincerely appreciated the great teachers like Ms Yesi, Ms Karina, Ms Neha, Ms Mariah! We fully trust and love this Tulip Kids!”

“We just can't say enough good things about Early Horizons (EH)! We have been a part of the EH community for about 1.5 years and plan to remain a part of EH for as long as possible. *TEACHERS: Absolutely amazing! We love how warm, caring, patient, and invested the teachers are in creating a nourishing environment for the kids. The kids genuinely love their teachers. I've also been impressed when it comes to necessary discipline. Their conflict resolution skills are admirable, especially for the toddler and preschool ages when the kiddos like to test adults' patience. While teacher turnover is inevitable in a pandemic/post-pandemic world, EH has done a great job with retention while also bringing in new talent. We especially like the diversity of teachers and appreciate that there is a good mix of gender (rare in childcare) and good representation from various racial and ethnic backgrounds. *CURRICULUM*: Enriching and age-appropriate activities. We love how the teachers share the curriculum in the app each day so that we are aware of what activities the kids did, what books they read, and what lessons they learned, and how each of those maps to gross motor skills, fine motor skills, intellectual development, etc. They even share pictures throughout the day, and it never fails to brighten my day. I've never heard of another school offering so much detail and it's wonderful to see the progress the kids are making and to share that success with them at the end of each day. One reason we chose EH was the focus on nature/outdoor time, and they really do fulfill that promise. Research increasingly suggests that outdoor play is important for children's development, so I feel very grateful that EH prioritizes it.*ADMINISTRATION*: Outstanding! Communication is phenomenal and far surpasses the experiences of those of other schools in the area. The administration provides transparency for every decision made. They give sufficient warning for any changes (e.g. school schedule/hours). They also provide structured monthly newsletters which include both functional and fun information (e.g. teachers of the month). They have been super flexible and understanding and worked with us details of caring for the kids and on changing start dates. I have every confidence that my child is safe and well-taken-care-of while at school, thanks in large part to the administration.*GROUNDS/FACILITIES*: The building in which EH sits is an old converted elementary school. The school is divided up and includes EH along with the French American School of Silicon Valley and Delor Montessori school. The building itself is maybe a bit dated, but honestly you don't even really notice because everything is clean, well-organized and provides a welcoming environment. The facilities staff and groundskeepers are so wonderful and they keep things in order and create a lovely space for the children. The outdoor play spaces are fantastic. They include lots of shade and even include misters, which are so helpful on hot days. The sandboxes were built special for the school relatively recently and are epic. The only minor drawback is that the parking lot can get tight and busy at pickup time, but it's not too bad, and nothing different from other schools (maybe even better).*VALUE*: I feel like we get everything listed above and more, and honestly the tuition is one of the more affordable options compared to similar schools in the area. Lunch isn't included in the cost (snacks are), but I prefer to pack my child's lunch anyway.Overall, we can't recommend EH enough!”

“My son has studied in this school for over three years. He loves the teachers and enjoys going to school everyday.Kudos to the teachers and the principals of this school, I have seen him improving his academic results. He also demonstrates good citizenship, which the school fosters over the years. We would love to recommend Mrs. Pak in 2nd grade and Mrs. Z in 4th grade. I remember during Covid, Mrs. Pak has to deliver the class home. However, I can still feel her passion and dedication. Mrs. Z is very warm and loving. The students see her as a trusted advisor and love to share things happened outside the classroom with her. The students see her as a family and hugs her very often. Finally, I would also express my appreciation for the principal of the school: Mrs. Ramyaa. Right after Covid, the school re-opened. There were so much anxiety among the parents and students. The principal stood up in front of the school every morning to welcome the students. She really leads by example. I am not surprised that the school will flourish under her leadership.”

“I went to this school 5-7 years ago starting in 2012-2013. I loved this school and its teachers. I sadly graduated when the school was done renovating and moved soon after in 6th grade. When I was still at the school they had or still have a great after school system called KLAS. My 5th grade year was the best with the best teacher and made friends that were around for years. Also the school was incredibly helpful to me because I came back from another country and I needed to relearn everything, reading and writing in English.”

“Due to work change, we turned out to send our daughter to Footprints only for 3 weeks. When we first enrolled her in the Jellyfish classroom, we were nervous that she wouldn't get much attention. Also she was shy and didn't know anyone. But the staff quickly put her at ease. The school created a warm and welcoming environment where she felt safe and loved. The care quality did not compromise due to my daughter's temporary enrollment. In fact, I feel there was even more dedication in her because of the short transition. We greatly appreciated that our daughter could celebrate her birthday on her last day in Footprints. Her real birthday was on the next week, but teachers were so considerate and concerned that the new school might not have time to celebrate her birthday on the first day of school. It turned out to be true. And I am really touched by the birthday card and gifts the teachers sent to her.Within such a short time, my daughter has already made new friend, learned new songs, and been happy to go to school. We highly recommend the preschool.”

“Tulip Kids Academy has been a wonderful and fun experience for our daughter. Although she only attended just a little over a year for Pre-School and Pre-K she has grown and gained a lot from her wonderful teachers. Thank you Ms Gowthami and Ms Hilda for your patient, kind and amazing teaching skills, Alex has learned and gained a lot of knowledge which will definitely help her transition in to kindergarten. All the staff there are amazing and kind, thank you Ms G as well. We definitely miss seeing photos of her day to day at school. We definitely will miss everyone there. Thank you all again!”

“I want to express my thanks to the outstanding teachers, Ms. Yang and Ms. Gina. As my son has been a part of the Stratford family since the age of 3, Ms. Gina has been his teacher for the past two years. Her unwavering commitment, care, and exceptional teaching have played a vital role in his growth and development. Ms. Yang and Ms. Gina genuinely care about their students. The nurturing and supportive environment they create in Room18 is truly commendable. My child has always felt safe, valued, and encouraged to explore his full potential under their guidance. The way they engage the children with creative and captivating teaching methods is remarkable. They consistently go above and beyond to make learning exciting and enjoyable for every child.Communication with Ms. Yang has been prompt and efficient. Her timely responses to my emails/messages and her warm and understanding approach have been greatly appreciated. I have always felt supported and informed about my child's progress. As the school year comes to an end, I can't help but feel immense gratitude for having Ms. Yang and Ms. Gina as my son's teachers. They have played a significant role in his educational journey, and I am confident that the positive impact they've had will continue to shape his future success.I highly recommend Stratford Washington School to any parent seeking an exceptional educational experience for their child. Thank you, Ms. Yang and Ms. Gina, for the extraordinary work you do!”

“I would like to update my review. Upon immersing ourselves in the preschool program, I do have to say that things have changed. Directors are more receptive to the concerns of the parents and students. They have amended some of their ways of doing things, and I am thankful for their sensitivity and adjustments. I do have to say that they accept and embrace all children including all backgrounds and nationalities, celebrating all holidays. I would like to wholeheartedly recommend this preschool. The community of parents is stellar (topnotch!) There are always gripes, but when given a chance to redeem, I give this school 5 stars. Yay to the teachers as well. :) Thank you!”

“My son went to PECL for two years. He absolutely loved PELC, and so did we. The teachers are just wonderful. Every teacher and staff we have worked with is so kind and loving. The classes are small, the activities and also snacks are high quality. Every kid there is happy and confident. If you’ve been to other schools you will see the differences. I just wish they can extend to elementary school grades!”

“This school is a gem of a "dog park"! It has such a huge field, and the nice part is that it's completely fenced. Even though it's fenced, it's so big that it might be hard to chase down your dog if they like to run far, far away. The field is pretty clean for the most part, but because it's so big and there's a lot going on, people may not see their dog doing their business and not pick it up. It's also not meant to be a dog park, so bring your own poop bags!I usually go a couple times a week after work around 5, and it's always poppin'. I've been once during the weekend so far, on a Saturday around 2PM, and it was pretty busy too! My dog is literally the happiest boi when he's here, prancing around sniffing away, chasing other dogs, and playing fetch with random people he's never met.”

“Both of my children attended Community First and loved their time at the school. It has been a great place for them to learn, play and make friends. The teachers are all great and so is the administration. During Covid it was a safe spot to send our kids. Strongly recommend for anyone looking for a preschool on Sunnyvale, Mountain View or Los Altos.”

“Comparing to the previous comment from Bright L, I have both of my children at the FASSV and the French preschool of Saratoga SFC. Both schools work perfectly in terms of French Education, warmth, caring and a very professional way, always on the top of everything. The Fassv is a great continuation of the little preschool of Saratoga, specially if you need your child to acquire the French language at different level. I have been to the Fassv for a while now and Martine the Director have been working hard to keep a healthy school during the pandemic. I usually like to give positive comments because I don't think it's right to destroy schools and their teachers specially during these difficult times. Again teachers thank you for all you do for our children so they can feel happy and safe.”

“My two year old daughter has been attending their toddler program for a few months now. We are so happy to have found this place. Her teachers are communicative, prompt, and most importantly, very loving to our daughter. The center follows strict COVID-19 protocols. The director, Jenifer, is very helpful and friendly. Overall, we trust CYW and will continue to enroll our daughter in their daycare.”

“t was very difficult for us to figure out the preschool of choice for our daughter. It is always a difficult choice but one made more difficult by 3 major issues:1) DIVERSE SCHOOLS OF THOUGHT: My husband's education styles varies wildly from mine: He was taught Montessori and then homeschooled by the same method and I was taught in an extremely academic/little fun/lots of competition style of school.2) EDUCATION WITH FUN: We wanted a school that would fit our child's very active lifestyle, still let her have fun but also truly prepare her for not just school but life.3) RESPECT FOR DIVERSITY: We are trying to teach our child the languages from both of us as well as ensure she thrives in the amazingly diverse environment we live in. We have friends that come from all over the world as we both come from diverse backgrounds and were looking for a school that represents how we spend our time as a family with diverse friends and fun relatives. How the heck can one combine all these 3 challenges and still stay married -you'd ask? Well first off I prepared a Google document of 10+ schools including the Google daycare ranking all 3 factors & how aligned my husband and I were. Misalignment was the word of the day until 1 year ago we went to meet Ms. Shanam. We both felt that this was the place that people truly care. Ms. Shanam shared how the school draws from several disciplines of child development (Montessori, Reggio Emillia & Scaffolding) so the child discovers the lesson intended in their own way or even better creates their own lesson. Seeing this in action when we first met Ms. Simanti and our daugther hug the teacher after their first full day -This addressed my first concern. Our daugther has been going to Windsor for the summer and non summer program and I see first hand the EDUCATION WITH FUN piece. We had a picnic to celebrate the start of the new year and she ran into the arms of her professors Sahil & Chris. Not only is the school both educational and fun but we get to read all that she does in notes each day. For someone that travels a lot for work, seeing these notes on how she puts makeup on her professors, and reads to dogs and makes her own art or loves learning new languages (Hindi, Spanish, Sign language) makes this all worthwhile.Lastly the respect for diversity is awesome to see taught in a very experiential way. We get together each week as parents in this amazing curated community to hang out, picnic, bbq and I can see how each child is bilingual and bilingual is the new English for Windsor Academy. You hear Hebrew and Hindi and Greek and English and Russian and each language brings forth the culture and it's great to see children learn respect interactively rather than via a lesson.”

“My youngest went here when we first moved into the area. Ms. Roxy (the owner?) met with us, gave us a quick tour and is a very sweet lady. She has a small classroom and definitely tries her best to do wholesome activities with the kids. Our son had trouble getting dropped off because of separation anxiety, but they gave him extra care to ensure he was consoled. One of my son's favorite toys was a bowling set we had at home, and Ms. Roxy let us bring it in for him to play when getting dropped off.The facility itself is situated in a small office plaza, and while it's on a busy street corner, I always felt my child was safe. The tuition at the time (it's been years now..) was very reasonable and one of the main draws for us, as other schools charged 1.5-2x+ more. I really enjoyed coming here, but the only reason we left was because our son was the youngest and we weren't sure if he could keep up with the class during playtime. The age ranges varied quite a bit when we attended.”

“We have been with Little Tree for 3+ years now. We have done preschool, summer camp, and after school. I was aware of the mixed reviews, but our experience has been positive thanks to Ms. Fei, Ms. Diana, Ms. Huang, Ms. Julie, Ms. Jackie, Ms. Lucy, Ms. Mariana, and other kind teachers. My kids love their teachers and friends at Little Tree.Pros:- The school is bilingual and their early Chinese education is solid. My kids can recite Chinese poems, participate in Chinese plays/holiday performance, and recognize/write Chinese characters. My older one barely spoke Chinese when she joined and now loves conversing in Chinese in public to impress others. - It's more affordable and convenient compared to some of the other options we looked at. It provides hot lunch which is a huge plus for us, the hours (8:15AM - 6PM) are great for working parents, and have enrichment programs on-site like clay, art, dance, and little athlete. Little Tree's summer camp was by far the cheapest among the 4 camps we attended so naturally we didn't have high hopes. It turned out it was not run by high schoolers like some big-name camp provider, and my kid actually did a lot of fun stuff including cooking and Chinese play.- The teachers are not high-pressure in our experience but definitely have high expectations. While we don't do any academic stuff at home, my kids have become very motivated learners. All the preschool teachers my kids have had emphasize developing a good study/life habit: complete the project/task at hand, clean up jobs, independently take care of themselves, etc.Caveats:- The kids do paperwork daily at school. There's no pressure to finish and no expectation of quality, but it is more academic than a play-based environment.- The teachers expect kids to behave and follow rules.”

“Nothing but great things to say about this school. Staff and teachers are great. My son and daughter both enjoyed their classes very much and boy did they learn a lot! The office staff were really helpful and attentive as well. Highly recommend to start your kids young here. They can actually learn a lot and the teachers/curriculum can really bring out the best in them and reveal their true academic potential! Only downfall is of course the tuition but if you can afford it, I'd say it's worth it.”

“Our daughter attended Bright Horizons Sunnyvale since she was 1 years-old and just completed her last year in K-prep. We had the most wonderful experience here and miss the center and team very much! The teachers and executive staff are caring and compassionate and we never once had a doubt about leaving our daughter here. She was always excited to go to school and to come home and tell us about what she had learned. I also appreciated how the teachers took the time to listen to us and tailor their care specific to our daughter's needs. One of the staff said that our daughter had "grown up" at the center and we really did feel like it was another home for her and a place that she experienced all of her milestones, from walking to potty training to learning how to play and share with her peers and finally to preparing for Kindergarten. Beyond the teachers, we also appreciated that the center was so well-designed, clean and welcoming to young learners. (And we also love the option for prepared lunch!). The center also did an excellent job managing the uncertainties of covid-19 and we were impressed with how they handled the new protocols and ensured safety for all students and teachers. Even though Bright Horizons is part of a larger company, the school feels like its own community. If you have a chance to send your child here, we would highly recommend it!”

“Have 3 kids here. We actually moved further away sometime after our first started and could go to a variety of closer schools to our house both public and private. In general we continue to send our kids here as the majority of teachers are amazing and so in the principal who spends time on her weekend making the school better. Kids really love the extended care and ask us to stay longer.”
