“This is a long-overdue review. Stormor Storage is a straight-forward storage; it's nothing fancy like other storages, but it gets the job done and the units are fairly-priced for the area (Torrance). If you're wanting units with built-in A/C, heater, room temp, big parking space, 24/7 service, etc...then this isn't the storage for you. This is a storage property simply to store things. Adam (manager) and Lewis are great. Adam and Lewis always make you feel welcome and are approachable whenever you need any assistance. Looking upon older reviews (approx 3 years and older) from customers, a few had mentioned being locked out (that's because some of them aren't aware of when the property actually closes; so they can't really blame the storage or manager for that). Also, I believe Adam wasn't the manager at the time, so other customers' experiences from 3 years ago should not reflect the customer service and/or property management currently. I think I was locked out once (my mistake not being aware of the time as entering/exiting access closes after 6pm), but I was able to get in contact with Adam and he was able to open the gate. When I first inquired about a storage unit, Adam gave me a good discount for my first few months to help me out, so I really appreciated him wanting me to save some money. Adam and Lewis are both accommodating and flexible; they are also prompt in answering and/or returning phone calls. Whenever I needed help with gate access, I would just call the office and Adam or Lewis would answer; they're usually good at answering calls, but if they can't answer, they would return my call within the same day. As a good courtesy, I also would receive my invoice via email every month for when payment is due, and if my payment doesn't go through, they have a grace period and Adam or Lewis would reach out to me after a few days to let me know that my payment didn't go through. I have yet to be charged a late fee because they always give me a notice after my grace period to avoid any late fees. In terms of the property upkeeping, I usually see Adam or Lewis sweeping the area, so they keep the property clean and tidy. The property is secure. Manager lives onsite and there are multiple surveillance cameras around the property. They also go around the property several times a day to ensure everything is ok. My unit was clean and remains clean. Not sure if all units have this, but my unit has a light, which is nice if it gets too dark in the unit. Overall - this is great storage property and managed by a great manager and staff; I have no complaints.”

Not their fault but mine. I find communication is key and they have been extremely understanding and empathetic during this pandemic. The truck was clean and with a full tank of gas.You can’t park on their property while you’re using your rental as spots are limited, but plenty of street parking.I recommend this place for any U-Haul needs.”

“I currently have a unit here. This facility is very clean and secure. There is ample parking out front and they even have a truck to rent for moving if needed. The employees here are amazing, very helpful, communicative and friendly. I feel very safe + secure at this facility while coming and going as it's located in a great community. I frequent my unit often and it's always so quiet and when I see the occasional person in the halls, I've always been greeted with kindness. Rates are fair for this very bright and airy, clean and secure facility. I've actually had multiple size units and no matter which size, they have all fit my needs at that time, I love the roll up doors on the unit, very smooth and the use of an elevator and rolling carts are there if needed. The access hours are perfect, I'd rather not be somewhere the hours are to broad. I highly recommend So Cal Self storage for your storage needs.”

“Everything was as good as it could be.The staff was courteous, the process extremely easy and quick, no hidden charges, and the vehicle was in terrific shape.Got an extension without any hassle, and returned it one day late without receiving any notice or harassing emails.Price was fair, as well. The daily charge was a great deal---the mileage charge is fairly steep with these brand new Silverados, but I will still use Uhaul next time, anyway, even if I have to do a lot of driving.Cannot get better than that.I would even consider Uhaul as a means of renting a vehicle if I have car problems, because the service was so much better than car renters', who are incredibly dishonest in comparison, and make the process much more complicated.Thank you, UHaul.I don't get to write reviews like this one too often.Outstanding.”

“First time ever having to pick up lots of goods from an oversea shipment. Our items were moved to this warehouse, so we had to rent a uhaul to pick up over 100 cartons. Was pleased with how efficient of an operation they were running, especially with so many docks and trucks constantly coming through to pick up their goods. Our 26ft Uhaul had a low bed, so it wasn't going to reach the 4 ft docks, so we had to park on the side of the lot to have our pallets driven out to us. The service was quick, and the gentleman with the forklift was patient and helped us with moving all of our packages into our truck. Glad with how quickly we were able to pick up our items, with no hassle.”
